very nice thank u Merry Christmas
You're welcome! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
Thank you Lori 👏🏻👏🏻😊
You are so welcome!
Dank voor de fantastische uitleg , ga er zeker mee aan de slag.
Excellent tutorial, just what I needed in the transition from LRc to LR. I think your Lacie drive may be 10TB (terabytes) not 10GB (gigabytes). 10GB is a fraction of a single camera's SD card now 🙂
Yes I misspoke. Thanks
This is a brilliant tutorial. After watching this, I am very likely to move my workflow from LrC to LR.
Dank weer voor de interessante site .
Really helpful tutorial demonstration. And beautiful image! Thank you!!
I’m so glad you found it helpful!
Shutter speed?
Prachtige les , dank daar voor.
Thank you! Have a happy day❤💙💚
Thank you very much ❤💙💚
Thank you very much ❤💙💚
i am strongly considering switching to local LR instead of LRC tbh. The entire UI in Classic is so ridiculously outdated and... inefficient. all the module things and whatnot take up so much space on my screen, it is bloated with so much stuff i have no use for and... i mean just looking at your LR screen and you have filters and whatnot straight on top... in LR every time i want to filter stuff or do anything i need to click pull out menus or submenus and go back and forth and i cant stand it anymore. LR ui is so beautifully clean and efficient. also the more time passes, the less i enjoy catalogs tbh. its like a skin ontop of folders making everything more complex. if i want to quickly go to a folder and copy some photos over... i dont even know where they are because LRC manages the folders on its own. i need to go into LRC for everything. And when lets say your catalog gets corrupted... you are basically f**ed. It just feels like you have no control over your own files and you are depended on LRC for your files. Back in the day i used bridge with my own folder structures. i was easily able to move files around, or edit files directly or backup my entire folder. Everything is just that bit more complicated. want to delete some photos... guess what LRC only throws them out of the catalog and you re left with like thousands of accidental dead files somewhere in random folders instead of just clicking delete... and it actually means delete because its the file itself.
Nice images thanks for sharing these and the ideas.
Lori, How do you keep the weeds down? What did you use for ground cover? Thanks!
I weed weekly in sections! :)
You have inspired me to create a flower garden.
Generative Fill still can't match the pixels and by the time it does if it does we will have to pay more for our subscription mine has just increased. I'm not going to keep paying more each time Adobe makes AI upgrades that aren't fully working it's always in beta. But your tutorial is interesting.
Hi, pls. What is the white thing you added, it turned out Great, thank you for posting!!!
White ink
@lorilankfordphotography thank you so much!
In the second option the sky is still terrible. here are two different colors and a seamline. But the technique itself is very usable
In most cases you’ll still have to do some edits.
Love your videos. So often you show me how to do something in a smarter way than I have done previously. I have Topaz Studio 2 and it seems that it is a legacy application that Topaz is no longer updating. I am crossing my fingers and hope the application continues to work because I would be sad to see it go away. Happy Creating!
I’m so glad that you enjoyed it! I am always looking for ways to make our edits easier and better.
What a wonderful bouquet of roses, they almost look like peony's! And you finished it to perfection! Thank you, as always for the informative walkthrough! I can't wait to give some of it a try!
I’m so happy you found it helpful! I can’t wait to see what you create.
Great results, Lori. Thanks for the tutorial on LAB I always forget about it, the ferns came out amazing! And thanks for the hint with Canva!! I hadn't heard about it before this!
I’m glad you found it helpful!
Hi Lori. Not sure if you can answer this here. But why use LR ( Local ) as opposed to LRC.
I switched to LR local in January! I redid my workflow once the editing tools were the same in each program. I have enjoyed it and find it simplistic. I did a video on it if interested. I like working directly with my hard drive.
Why can't everyone be as clear as you at instructing how to do this. I've even looked on the PS tutorials and can't find what I'm looking for. THANK YOU!!!! This was so helpful.
@@Jeanisamar I’m so glad! Have fun editing
I’ve used your approach and I’m delighted with the results - thanks very much for making that so clear 😊
I’m so glad! It’s a fun technique
Just when I was getting into 50% gray! Why would you not want to do this with 50% gray? Wouldn't that be more effective and give more control?
@@smitaghosh6133 using Lightroom versus Photoshop. Not everybody likes Photoshop.:) both methods are non-destructive.
Good teaching, but I think those top two pinkroses are too grey, which is what you mentioned. they don't look natural at that amount, but could be altered if wanted.
@@jessicaeiss2541 thanks for the input. Going for a vintage look but you don’t want to over do it
Such a lovely bouquet and you really enhanced it perfectly 📸🖌️🖼🎨
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the final edit.
Beautiful image. Thanks for sharing the techniques.
Dank voor je prachtige uitleg , heel leerzaam , lieve groet uit lage Zwaluwe ,Nederland.
Hi Lori. Around 7min you did the Mac, Cmd-Option-Shift-E. You ended up with a New Background Layer. I do that I get Layer 2. Why the difference? Confused me.
@@kevindickinson1541 great question. I was confused too. I’ve been getting that recently. I did reset my Photoshop menu and that may be causing it. What you’re getting is correct
This was so much fun, followed along this morning with my own image and I’m really pleased with the results, thank you for sharing.
@@shonacrosthwaite4136 oh I’m so glad that you practiced and enjoyed it
Loved the little tweeks you gave to the image!
I hope they give you some creative inspiration!
@@lorilankfordphotography absolutely!
Wonderful image.
I’m glad you liked it!
I’m curious if you have used Camera Raw in photoshop instead of light room. Also before I bring an image into photoshop I used DXO Pure Raw to remove the noise. Have you ever tried that? I love your style and am trying to figure out what aspects of your process line up with my workflow. Thank you.
Yes, once I go into Photoshop, I usually use camera raw to make any additional tweaks before taking it back into a Lightroom. However, sometimes I take it back into Lightroom and then realize there’s something else I want to do. I do try to keep my workflow simple and so using camera raw is a great way to do that. I shoot with a pretty high pixel image and don’t typically shoot with high ISO so I don’t have an issue with noise if I do I typically use the denoise in Lightroom or I may use topaz product if I have to.
Thank you! Have a happy day!
Weer een fantastische leer moment , ik kijk er elke zondag naar uit. Dank voor de mooie uit leg
