@@kirkize they’re probably worried about people hitting the pipeline. I watch them under me on the sonar in Lake Saint Catherine.

Yeah I went around them cause i didn’t want to hit anything. Don’t want to disturb the workers .

Yeah got skunked but was nice to cut up and have some fun . We got beat down hard with the waves .

What type of birds would you like to see?

I will be looking for oastal burds such as egrets. Herons. Ibis. Wood storks. Etc Im using a nikon d500 with a nikon 5.6 200-500 lens

@@stevefaucette not many wood storks That I have seen but lots of shore birds to see all over the state . Hermitage rd in port sulfer is good. Or city park in New Orleans like this video. So many places just how far you like to drive

People’s feelings dont trump my second amendment constitutional rights here in Louisiana . July 4th we will be a constitutional carry state so you won’t even know who is armed as it will be legal to conceal without a permit.

This was last sat fished marsh on back side of grand isle . Live shrimp under cork pop it hard make some noise . We catch and the porpoise show up and mess up bite a little but stayed biting all day.

@@kirkize take 2 aluminum rods with you. When you see a porpoise hit them together under the water and they will vanish. Won’t affect the trout. Good deal getting on some fish. We’re going next Saturday-Monday, so depending on weather is going to determine if we fish bay or gulf side. Last year was tough on the weather.

Yeah we always have a few poles set different depths but I do have some set shallow just not with the kale hook . I need another versamaxx cork those were great and adjustable and loud . lol

Yeah I love those versamax makes it much quicker to adjust depth but like you said in the video they are hard to find in the store.

Had some 23” trout never seen that big before

Should be going out soon to check things out we need to meet up .

I am not exactly sure I believe half moon bay in this video but we fish many spots . Lots to watch out for in a boat plan ahead where you are going. I don’t go spoil canal I go bayou loutre and fish bay eloi also . Make sure you have a push pole incase you get stuck in the mud . Stay safe tight lines !

I use white or try redfish color ones . Try Elmer’s and pier is open now with green lights for night fishing . Tight lines !

Couple weeks back .

Yeah I was wondering what was going on I snagged a shark then the camera shut off when it came out the water a real bummer to miss that footage. Guess it’s a fish story now lol

@@kaptkirksphotography The Black tips are a blast! They hit like trucks. So when the Lady Fish feed on the Poggys or the Shrimp and you catch a lady the sharks will blast them. We were in them two weeks ago on Elmers Island like that. They do have trout under there as well, but the sharks make it almost impossible to bring them in.

Go watch the hopedale video for the swamp monster . Lol i always carry on the ready. So the last two guys that got kidnapped at gun point were not armed they they were taken and their boat . I train regularly so I am always ready and have redundant things in operation. Take care tight lines !

Yeah I usually fish hopedale for the last 15 years and fished grand isle over the last month it’s so much better and cleaner . I want to try a rig in the gulf next time . It’s a two hour drive from my house either way .
