We had to fight our local power company to prevent them from installing a smart meter (they were charging us $30 per mo. as a meter reader fee, but now it's $10per mo.). We do not have WiFi, we do not have any internet connection except on our android phones. We do not have t.v.s. We do not have automated pay set up for anything. We do not nor have we ever had or used credit cards. We do not participate in any "club members discounts" such as Safeway card/Fred Meyer card/Coffee shop cards, because you give up your private info to be sold to 3rd parties in order to use members cards. We do not access our medical info online. The only bills we pay online is our cell phone bill & we don't save the payment method. All other bills we pay via in person or over automation phone payment option. We don't have any mapping or satellite radio subscriptions for our vehicles. We don't play video games even on our androids. Our WiFi, NFC, Bluetooth & location is kept off at all times on smartphones. We do have a 8 camera security system outside our home but it is not connected to internet or uploaded to a cloud ever. We only pay bills from 1 bank account that we only keep enough funds in to pay said bills. None of the appliances in our home connect to internet. No ring doorbell, no "smart" thermostat or anything else. We have a few stereos that play radio or take cassette & CD & I have adapter to play anything from TH-cam on my stereo speakers. We have run into a few hiccups but have worked around them. Except the whole printer thing.... we have yet to figure out the dang printer without wifi 🤷.

Radu ... What a stud. Swoon. It's amusing whenever this topic comes up in the Muslim world. There is a predictable hysterical reaction from muslims who refuse to consider the possibility that Mehmet might have had a bit of swish in his step. "blasphemy!". And yet you never see Romanians freak out about Radu. At worst, one might hear "but isn't this from one source?". (a far more reasonable basis for a little doubt.). Certainly, collaborating with the Turks is more attention-getting in the Balkans. Yes, it's a minor detail ... But a revealing part of the historiography. In the Balkans, the worst thing you can be is a lover of the Turks. In the Muslim world, the worst thing you can be is gay, it seems.

mehmed II never had a "love affair" with radu. you will never find a legitimate source that says that. only one Greek source says that but the information hugely contradicts with historical facts. it was an easy way to give your enemies a bad reputation. the rumor was spicy and now you can make youtube videos about it. but the reality is mehmed's love life was very bland and he loved radu as his own brother

Simulation theory matters because you cannot actually die in a simulation. You would just wake up in the real world. Simulation theory would give a guaranteed afterlife in my opinion. Simulation theory also suggests possible solipsism with you being the only player character in the simulation and everybody else would be non player characters. The purpose would be a consciousness trainer.

0:56 not to mention they were lightweight so that’s a huge contributing factor as to why is the flight went 110 rounds literally twice as long as the longest heavyweight boxing match which was like 57 rounds and the two guys literally were on deaths door in need of an emergency room like one guy had his eyeball hanging out of his head. The other guy had his ears chewed off. It was crazy but the reason this fight went 110 rounds because the guys weighed like 130 pounds.

I miss the Canadian reputation from before the whole "nice" nonsense began. We were viewed as a rough country where only the toughest and meanest lumberjacks and hunters live. This is why the Germans were always afraid of fighting Canadians in the 2 world wars. That was our reputation before the internet ruined it!

@@rikk319 I agree it started before the internet, but it is still fairly new that people thinks Canadians are nice. What really started it, is american tv. Or more specifically, american documentaries. Then where Pierre Trudeau PM of Canada at the time, he decided to just run with that lie so he could get more people to immigrate to Canada. - But it was only the US who though Canadians were just nice. The rest of the world began to believe it only after the internet became established.
