この曲の後にドヴォルザークのスラブ舞曲第3番作品46ー3を演奏したら、面白いかも‼️ハイ‼️
Absolutely Fantastic done the right way, the audience should be on their feet , because it was that good !!!!!
Excellent!!

No comments here since years ago indicates that we have allowed great music from yesteryear to slip into oblivion and replaced it with primitive sounds masqueraded as music.
Robeeeeeeeeeeeert
what is this concertmaster's name? i really like his performance.
Kong Zhao Hui
@@robertcasteels oh, thank you so much!!
MPO!
Lindissimo
I love this performance. At 3:58 they play a passage frequently omitted in performances. Part of that passage was played in the Bugs Bunny cartoon "14 Carrot Rabbit" when Yosemite Sam is chasing Bugs across every state in the Union.
Cool, yeah I had never even heard that section with the pizzicato before the oboe section. We played this in my high school symphonic band and that part was definitely omitted.
@Dan Wruck Whatever, Im not an orchestra person, I’m a wind band person. The better of the two.
Beep beep!
I'm guessing this is the Singapore Symphony Orchestra?
MrTrashcan1 Malaysian Philharmonic, years ago
Just great , Conductor Robert Casteel brings out the best in this symphony orchestra . Thank you so much for posting.
dogius ignorami
I remember the music at the beginning from the Road Runner and Coyote cartoons Road Runner never got caught XDDDD
That's the way I love it, the long extended version of Smetana's "Dance Of The Comedians" from the opera The Bartered Bride. Robert Casteels did a marvelous performance conducting this symphonic piece performed by the symphony orchestra. Mostly outstanding for sure!
this is boring compared to Victor Borge's hysterical version which is lightness and gut achingly funny
Not that I agree with J.R. Wilson, but that's an irrelevant argument, as he never claimed he was "so good" or that he could do better.
It does not need the bells!
How can the arranger spoil this beautiful song with contrived effects? It makes me sad. Please listen to the orchestral version to hear how beautiful it can be. Not the band's or the conductor's fault, as there is some beautiful playing.
The performance sounded great, good dynamics, accents and tempos. The conductor did exactly what his was supposed to.
if you're so good, you do better
Hey, genius, why don't you look at the user name of who posted the video next time, before making a rude comment about them?
this reminds me of Tokyo at rush hour.
We played this today...but at a MUCH slower tempo, considering we're only in Jr. High and we had only 3 days to work on it. (All Region Orchestra concert)
เพราะมาก ๆ :)
Do anyone has keyboard note for this song.If you have it,please contact me here.
scarey conductor, seruious comedy
too much what?
not good. i've played this many times under big names. he just had too much....crazy
Victor Borge version is hilarious
4:18 is where Yosemite Sam is chasing Bugs Bunny through every state of the Union, in search of gold.
@StatuesBleedingGreen i know, i absolutely love the film and just today i found the waltz on amazon! only 89 cents!
8 years ago :) .. 89 Cents ! .. this piece is priceless.
Fabulous energy, control and dynamics! Absolutely enthralling!
So nice...reminiscing about it the whole time. Thanks for uploading!
@tigrepants Hey don't feel bad. I do the same thing on some cartoons too. Also this song just doesn't look and sound right to me without Victor Borge.
Wow !! Awesome performance.... Really sharp, clear and crisp. Really enjoyable....
heh, same here.
Una muy buena lectura y direccion de una pieza muy conocida de Smetana . Felicitaciones.¡¡¡ Como se llama la orquesta...? Gracias.
I've never heard this song in all of the road-runner cartoons I've ever watched. Strange. I more associate road-runner with the tune they usually play at the beginning.
when was this recording?
LOL...well, actually it's more or less the Road Runner theme. And yes, Carl Stalling was a versatile, well-versed (pun *very* intended, lol) genius when it came to musical arranging.
