PowerBronze windscreen highway test for my Triumph Trident 660

2nd video review of the 295 mm tall windscreen, IMO, I would not recommend getting the smaller PowerBronze screen which is about 220mm, as this won't deflect much more wind than the Trident fly screen which basically stops bugs from hitting the back of the dash. I had an awesome time in the DGR, raised about $1800 can't wait to blow that away next year ! Sorry the camera angle is slightly tilted, last minute mount on my half helmet for the DGR

Simple install of the Powerbronze windscreen.... NOTE: you must push the rubber screws from the inside of the brackets, pushing the rubber tip through first... would have been helpful if they put that in the notes of the install ! You not riding anymore? I saw your last video done 1 year ago? Do you still have this bike and how is the dealership service with Triumph? I heard it's horrible and people wait 3 months for parts and other crap, you can't change the oil by yourself and if you do you still have to take the bike to the dealership to reset the computer on the bike and they charge like $100 for this which is ridiculous. Is that true?

No I traded it up for a speed twin 1200 but it was an awesome bike

Yea Quaker City … I had the trident 2 years and traded it in for the street triple … like the tridents big brother !
I may have your bike! I bought a used Trident from Quaker in late Feb ‘23, matte black, ~600 miles…
@@jonathansinrich2412 I did end up getting a 22 Trident with 250 miles on it from Quaker City a couple weeks ago. Loving it. How are you liking the Street Triple compared to the Trident?
@@_Moto215 Hi, LOVED the street triple, however after 6 months, I always felt like I had to push the bike since it wants to go go go ! So I traded that for a speed twin 1200 and the torque is amazing and I love this bike, I'll keep this for several years (famous last words)

Before first service I sometimes found that I'd go from 1 to N before hitting 2. After first service I really haven't noticed it happening.
Same !! I can find neutral east now from first or 2’d
@@jonathansinrich2412 I bought my Trident at the end of March and have 1,600 miles on the clock already. After first service the Trident has really opened up - I push it pretty hard at times and I'm very happy with it.

I’m not currently a member of the USA riders page but I will be. I got the same windscreen from powerbronze. Also, may I suggest a radiator guard from Iconic Parts UK, I purchased the “ Union Jack “ version from them. I have the same exact bike with a quick shifter.
I don’t go onto FB that often because of the nature of my job, it’s taboo and highly frowned upon.

Hey buddy, how did you run the charging cable for the phone mount to the USB Port? Did you have to remove the tank or anything? Cheers from The Netherlands
Coen, I purchased a USB charger from Amazon, and ran it from the battery and found a hidden pathway under the tank and forward up to the handle bars for mounting, then purchased a 6" charging cable. My dealer had installed a lead for a battery tender and this plugs into the charging cable www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08L416RSV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

No, I have no need for it, I’m not taking this bike on the track and pulling in the clutch is not a task for me some people like the quick shifter ... I’m not a fan

The shifting is butter smooth, the torque is amazing even though I am still in the break in period, have driving 300 miles
Where did you get those mirrors ?
I bought them from Triumph of Cleveland as they seem to have a lot of accessories in stock... these mirrors are awesome Triumph p/n A9630721
You can go to the dealership to adjust your suspension in the rear to make it a softer ride if the bumps are to hard for you.
I believe it is set for the softest out of the box, so not much to do except change rear shock to one that is more adjust ...

Jonathan - A Tankbag suggestion Givi ST602B also need the tanklock (to the filler cap)..here in the Uk about £70 &£15..have links to Uk shops But am sure You can find locally...Excellent reviews and a good brand luggage..👍😃

Why you take off in second gear?
Was probably by accident and with the torque so refined on this bike I didn’t even realize it probably felt close to first ... the bike is amazing
