Perettiite-(Y) was found in Burma (Myanmar) by Adolf Peretti which has also been named after him. Dr. Adolf Peretti, the mineral’s discoverer is head gemologist and director of GRS Gemresearch Swisslab AG (Meggen, Switzerland).
