@@bsharikiran which city are you in? Any local mechanic will do it for you. Some parts of hexa are not easily available. Hence it's better to verify their availability before going to Taas. I have stopped going to Taas they over inflate the bills and suggest unnecessary repairs. For example last year & and also the last time I went to them my AC was not working. They asked me to change 1) Compressor 2) Both Radiator fans and mount(claimed it is not working) 3) Entire Radiator( because they claimed fan mount is not available & they need to replace Hexa radiator with Safari Radiator which has a compatible mount) the Estimate was 28k Compressor 18k Radiator 14k Fan Mount 3k & 5k radiator Fans 4k for testing(which was charged first) The above estimates did not include GST and labour which cost extra. I went to a local car AC mechanic who diagnosed the issue as a worn out compressor clutch which he fixed in 6k included refilling my ac gass/refrigerant. He found that the only issue with the radiator fan was a blow fuse for which he didn't charge me. Hence find a local mechanic once your Tata warranty is over you will find & get better service. Also Instead of paying 58k for a new alternator I got it repaired in 4.5k(last year) & The wiper linkage was similarly fixed this June in 4k.

Nope, should have carried as I ran out and had to take it from locals... but there is a fuel station while heading from Hayuliang to Walong, if we fill it there then it should be sufficient. Hope this helps!

1.22 Lakh KMs in 06 years

In my opinion (limiting to Hexa only).. it is the BS6 norms that didn't give enough time for Tata to continue its production and await for people to consider it as the best car! It's was a jackpot back in date!

Vehicle is undoubtedly worth.. issues are common in any make... timely/preventive maintenance remains the key for aging vehicles! Hope this helps!

Fortunately, none of these issue popped for me... while this has been an issue for subset of Hexa cars.

Hi, thank you!!! Fukche to Nyoma is about 3-4 hours for less than 100 KMs. We started from Fukche at 4 and reached Nyoma by 8 PM. No special permissions were needed back then in 2022. None stopped us either. So I think you can go as well without any hiccups. of course you need to get the usual permit for the Ladakh though! it will be checked in Leh before you start to Khardungla! I have driven 1.10 Lakh and I had no major issues, some of them have already driven 3 Lakh KMs with no major issues. It is the regular maintenance that makes any car reliable, so go by the maintenance history and that should do. If you find a car with low run and aligned to regular services then you must be lucky! Any car aged more than 05 years will have some major components to be replaced. If you are buying one make sure that is all done before purchase. Finally, Hexa comes with Torque Converter Automatic, it isn’t any match with AMT. 😊

Mileage is around 10 in the city and 14 on highways... Service cost is comparatively less. Used Hexa, as I get to know will message you.

While I am not aware of any such restrictions in the night, if you are driving to Kodaikanal then what's the point to drive in the dark? You will miss the scenic route experience. I would suggest you take halt and drive fresh the next morning to Kodaikanal. You will love it. Night time there could be heavy fog too that makes the driving impossible. I would advice not to drive at night

@@dbl38 Avoid plastic, it is strictly restricted, liquor too may be. They didn't stop us for any checking since I was with family.
