    Alright, Bo Bennetts needs to practice some critical thinking. Zimbardo was already anti-prison and sadly, he allowed this to bias his research design His ad targeted people interested in prison life and people were self-selected, biasing the sample. Zimbardo was the prison superintendent in the study, telling the guards to toughen up and be harsher to the prisoners, and attempting to force them to be cruel to the prisoners. Still a majority: 2/3 of the guards did not abuse their power. Only 4 guards followed the researcher’s prodding and obeyed his instructions to abuse the prisoners. One of the "bad apples" was a drama student who said he purposely tried to adopt the bad guard persona, as he knew this was what Zimbardo wanted. Zimbardo selectively filmed and only shared the troubling dramatic bits The study failed to be replicated Before the study was done, he already decided on the “results” and contacted the media to promote “prison reform” He created hype, and lots of people wanted to believe him Now it is uncritically put in almost every psychology textbook, Uncritically presented as a fact Even if none of this was the case, it would be too small a sample size to speak meaningfully and would lack ecological validity.

    Hello! Sir I saw your videos and was impressed by the quality of your content. However, after analysis, I noticed there needs to be improvement for getting more views and subscribers. You are working hard but the main motive to reach an exact audience is not fulfilled. You are working for your audience if the video can't reach them. That's a waste of your energy and time also. I will show the problem in your video and share how to fix it. Only say ‘yes’ if you want to grow your channel.

    Revolutionize my writing with AI techniques? Is that supposed to be a euphemism for "I'm too lazy to develop my own writing skills, so I'm going to let a machine do it for me"? As a writer and self-publisher, I'm gearing up to launch a marketing campaign with the slogan "No AI none of the time." I have no interest in reading anything a machine wrote. I want to interact with PEOPLE, and I intend to make it a big marketing point that anyone reading my stuff knows they're interacting with a human being.

    Even though this video did not explicitly state a conclusion, it could easily be assumed by anyone watching this video, that the conclusion is that the book of Daniel has problems with it that put into question its credibility as being taken literally. I agree that the Book of Daniel and the Bible have serious problems which cause credibility problems. I don't believe that the Bible is literally accurate or true. My criticism of the content of this video does not automatically mean that I disagree with the implied conclusion of the video. Many people often think that if someone criticizes something that they are automatically taking the opposing stance to the conclusion. While that is often true in this extremely polarized human experience it's not inevitable. I can agree with the implications and overall message of this video but point out what I see as problems with the delivery.

  • @FairnessIsTheAnswer
    @FairnessIsTheAnswer 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    At 0:18 it is stated: "It's jam packed with these crazy stories and prophecies" The use of the word "crazy" and the emphasis put on the word could imply a lack of credibility. Communicating in this way is not a purely clean evaluation. An unbiased evaluation would avoid words and terms that could bias the views of the recipient of the communication.

  • @FairnessIsTheAnswer
    @FairnessIsTheAnswer 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    The video begins with the statement, "So you wanted a full breakdown of the book of Daniel." This statement insinuates that the content of this video is a full breakdown of the book of Daniel. Is it? Is a 5 minute video a full breakdown of the book of Daniel? If a 5 minute video is not a full breakdown of the book of Daniel, but it is insinuated that the video is a full breakdown of the book of Daniel, then has a misleading statement been made? Think critically and question everything.

  • @FairnessIsTheAnswer
    @FairnessIsTheAnswer 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    At 4:50 it is stated: "keep thinking critically and questioning everything" I agree. This may sound like a crazy idea but it's even okay to evaluate the content of this video and question it. This video is a subset of everything, so if It is fair to question everything then you can question this video.

  • @FairnessIsTheAnswer
    @FairnessIsTheAnswer 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    At 4:45 it is stated: "Thanks for taking us into this deep dive of the book of Daniel." This video is five minutes long. Is a deep dive into anything possible to do in 5 minutes? Is this 5 minute video a complete and comprehensive evaluation?

  • @FairnessIsTheAnswer
    @FairnessIsTheAnswer 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    At 3:36 it is stated: " It was a different time totally, like back then unquestioning obedience could have been necessary for survival" Prefacing the assertion with the phrase "it was a different time totally, like back then . . . " plants an idea that insinuates that currently there are no places in the world where people show unquestioning obedience in order to survive. Is that true? Think about it. Are there authoritarian dictatorships in the world that practice propaganda and imprison and kill anyone who shows any dissent? If it is currently true that there are places in the world where unquestioning obedience is necessary for survival, then the insinuation that the time period of the book of Daniel was unique to this phenomenon would be incorrect.

    You should have just put in a few samples of AI reading Shakespear or anything with depth, or Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park or other works with suspenseful adventure, etc. Authors know voice, and we know what we want in a narrarator or storyteller. This piece tells me nothing. It's just poor advertising.

    I like your takes on this book but I would encourage you to read the wisdom literature as a whole. Proverbs, ecclesiastes and Job together form a very beautifully nuanced outlook on the meaning of life and wisdom. They do not simply contradict and I think it is kind of insulting to say that the writers or the readers throughout the ages where so stupid that they could not see the supposedly obvious contradictions. But apart fromthat great video guys, keep reading the Bible!

    "Sharing" isn't a good choice of word here. Generally, when more than one person are *sharing* something finite, they each have less of it. And yet the perpetrator still has 100% responsibly for his actions.

    4) The Organisational They: Mexican immigrants: "They are not going to be sending us their best. They're sending us their durg dealers, their unalivers, their S.A.rs." A politician said that. And the 'They' is not unnamed. It's Mexicans. But it still implies a level of organisation and directed management that does not exist. Who is deciding which Mexicans will emigrate? Who is preventing law-abiding, hard-working Mexicans from leaving Mexico?

    Are these two people created by AI? Why can't there be a real photo of them? Why is there such poor engagement here? Why are we talking about something like this is not relevant and useful? I have been a Dr. Bo Bennett fan, like, forever, and this is my first listen to this podcast. I found it unbelievably annoying to listen to this presentation style - childish and sing-songy. I had to stop listening to it. I won't be listening to any more of these. And I'm being kind.

      I appreciate the feedback. This is AI. I am trying a some new technologies. I agree that they are somewhat annoying. Using this format, I can get a new episode out every day as opposed to a handful a year. If you listen to some back episodes they are a mix of my actual narration and my AI cloned voiced. I will keep adjusting as new and better tech becomes available.

    • @MarkusHalvorson

      @@bobennett7750 Oh, Bo! I see now. Well, I'm a gigantic fan of yours and all this caught me off guard and it seemed very off brand for you. I also left a comment on the Leviticus episode. Yeah, my comments on both encapsulate the reaction someone coming along and experiencing them for the first time might have. It doesn't seem at all connected to you. I just encountered an AI generated TH-cam channel that clones Brené Brown's voice and it really rubbed me the wrong way as well. It was a different approach, but felt like theft because I know her work intimately. The channel had automobile videos in the content as well and was clearly a monitization grab. People are very suspicious of AI, especially me - someone who is a lifelong engineer who understands the tech very well and the public's reaction to it. Using this technology to make your life easier, while confusing the hell out of your name and brand, well, since I love you and your work bigtime, it makes me want to tell you to just not go there. I want and expect only the best from you. There's got to be a better way. Hmmmm. About me: I educate men (21cman dot org), teach critical thinking skills (clearthinkingcampaign dot org, where you are mentioned), I'm a computer hw/sw engineer in science and business for 50 years now, and I taught human sexuality for a bit at UCSD. My personal webpage is informationworkshop dot org. Feel free to contact me using those websites.
