DAY IN MY LIFE as a professional athlete in Hong Kong (gap year edition)
Take a look back at a day in my life as a professional athlete in my hometown of Hong Kong, where I trained during my gap year to chase my Olympic dream. This year gave me the opportunity to fully dedicate my time and effort to fencing, and I’m incredibly grateful for the chance to pursue what I love.
In this vlog, you’ll get a glimpse into my daily routine, including training sessions, moments of rest, and how I approached life as an athlete. While I didn’t show every tough moment, I hope this video highlights that long-term success in any field requires discipline, grit, and consistent effort. nope. at least to me. an athlete is someone who does sports and exercises often. if you look it up, it doesnt say anything that has to do with size or age.
Age and size can definitely play a role, but skills and mindset can level the playing field
So what does define you as an athlete?
Being an athlete, for me, is about more than just the results. It’s the mindset, the discipline, and the lessons I’ve learned along the way-the highs, the lows, and everything in between. It’s about constantly growing and loving the journey.
