It's a 3071, so not sure what measurement you are referring to but the wheel on this compressor has a 53mm inducer/71mm exducer. Power will depend on a lot of different factors. Rough guesstimate at 10-20hp per pound of boost.

It can be done, there was another guy that had one in a first gen s10 that was pretty popular on the s10 forums..

I try to time permitting. When I first designed this build, I was heavily into Maximum Boost by Corky Bell as well as throwing numbers at Garrett's Boost Advisor. Obviously had 0 recommendations given the poor efficiency of this engine due to it's displacement combined with 8 valves/OHV. What I did was ended up sizing things theoretically. Landed on a choice of the original Garrett 3071(GTX stuff wasn't out yet), chose the smallest hotside at .63, and the truck is very drivable around town without even getting into boost. Cobalt tune is a must though to at a very minimum reference the 2-bar map sensor, which lands me at a current limit of around 15psi. Best advice I can give is to be realistic with your expectations, know that it's difficult to make power with these. 30R is a great turbo recommendation for I'd say sub 500WHP.

Anybody with HP Tuners can assist on the tuning side. I went with a spec stage 3+ clutch for the nv1500.

Joe, It’s a custom 3” 304SS system with an aero turbine 3030 muffler.

David @ dts2.net, if he has anything left. They were Mahle pistons and Eagle rods. Still using the stock valvetrain, and stock cam at the moment.

Short of forced induction an engine swap is the only other thing. The small upgrades don't make a big enough impact to justify the cost, I'm talking about the electric fan, underdrive pullies, etc.

Nope, traded the car in but still sitting on the kit trying to get rid of it.
