The Giants are Going to Unleash Jordan Hicks
มุมมอง 8K8 หลายเดือนก่อน
The San Francisco Giants' Pitching Lab has struck again. The Giants have signed Jordan Hicks with the opportunity to be a starter, and their pitching staff is beginning to look extremely powerful.
How Brandon Marsh is Breaking Baseball
มุมมอง 543ปีที่แล้ว
Brandon Marsh is one of the weirdest players in baseball this season. But what makes his 2023 so unique with the Phillies?
What's wrong with Taylor Ward?
มุมมอง 490ปีที่แล้ว
Taylor Ward's 2022 was phenomenal, but his 2023 has been terrible. What has caused the quick downfall of Taylor Ward, and how can the Angels help him get back to offensive dominance?
great stuff! i wonder if that outro music might fit well underneath your breakdowns at a lower volume as background. amazing content either way!
Dude i hope he can be our guy for the next 5+ years
its insane man one game he looks like clayton kershaw then the next hes the worst pitcher on the roster, hes so inconsistent its genuinely insane, his curveball is really really good when its on at least but when its off hes throwing batting practicw
I just blinked.
The Angels are unable to develop pitching talent, or any talent really. Anyone who can throw a no hitter at the major league level clearly has elite stuff, but I think he'll need a change of scenery to grow. Any other MLB team should be able to develop him into a bonafide ace. Here's hoping he gets the career he deserves
it was the flukest of no hitters he only had 2 strikeouts balls were beamed off the bat all night just right to the defense
Caden Dana is currently a top 100 prospect, so they can develop clearly
@@GummyGum123no they can’t. Outside of Jared Weaver, they haven’t developed a good pitcher in decades.
angels have 5 mvp seasons in the past 12 years. more than any other team shohei was a project and developed by the angels. the angels developed trout and ohtani, who are each arguably top5 players in history. yea, the angels haven't developed anyone.....
Really great content! Agree with the commenters below about adding some backtrack but I'd also recommend clipping out the beginning and ends of sentences to eliminate breath and mouth sounds. Everything else is already great!
Great video! Just needs something in the background, though. It's always a plus lol
Hey man if I can recommend something to help improve your content it would be to add faint background music. It would help break up the silence between sentences/ during graphics. Overall though, a very well made video!
This video aged like fine wine
As an Angel fan, I wasn't sorry at all to see him go. For us, at least, he was the epitome of average. That hair will never win over many people also. Like it or not, the fan base is largely boomers.
As a jays fan, hated to see Hicks go. Very professional vid. 👍
love the video but my gosh it was like mouth noise ASMR with headphones on keep up the good work though brother
Sorry! I'll make sure to get that taken care of for next episode, I appreciate the feedback
Great video! What does the number on the player cards indicate?
Thanks! The cards' numbers, if the card is blue, represents the 20-80 overall scouting grade MLB Pipeline has given the player (like Keaton Winn's card in the video). If the card is any other color, it is their MLB The Show rating, since the general style of the video is based on the old card-collecting games from when I played them. I chose The Show ratings because they are the most frequently updated and are generally well-organized, although they certainly don't properly represent a player's skill.
Giants have done a lot of great things for pitchers so I have high hopes for him as a starter
Love this
So that’s what you got going for you frisco? 😂😂😂😂 I will allow one sf to jump ship and join the blue. Two musts not allowed though skinny jeans and Birkenstock.
Really looking forward to seeing how this plays out. Great video thank you for making it 🙏
hasnt made a difference or been the difference on any team. hes didnt improve the giants and isnt going to
As a cardinals fan if the giants do turn hicks into a starter… I will loose my mind on how shitty our coaching staff is and if they aren’t fired then cardinals have no hope
The production on this video has no business being this good considering you have less than 100 subs... honestly, if you post consistently, id be shocked if you don't get thousands of subscribers Quality gets noticed by people
Can't believe you only have 61 subscribers - great video
Solid dick joke 😂👍
Inb4 he gets injured and pitches 39 innings for the season with a 4.45 ERA
Lowkey i look back at the hicks trade as a cardinals fan if he had 1 more year of control i feel we could have gotten more
A video literally about Gausman saying hicks will be the same lol where is Ross Stripling now 🤔
Strip doesn't have the natural talent to be anything more than an average pitcher... Hicks is one of the most physically gifted pitchers in baseball and Gausman has really good movement on his off speed pitches while also having a really good fastball also, great pitching factories don't just turn everyone great (just look at the Rays with Luis Patino)
@masterbaiters1183 exactly why you don't pick out a single player for your video and say he is gonna turn out the same , this is baseball the jays have a fantastic pitching factory themselves Robbie Ray hasn't been the same since leaving that franchise
@@johnharvey4402 He didn’t say Hicks will turn out like Gausman… He essentially stated the Giants will get a lot out of Jordan Hicks and used their pitching coaches success with Gausman, Cobb and Rodon to prove their skill… The video is more like showing off Hicks natural talent and the Giants ability to turn talent into results The Jays have a good pitching program but you can only make so many improvements to a guy that you picked up after the 100 game mark… The Giants have an entire offseason and spring training to get the most out of Hicks
If this works out for San Francisco it’ll be like the second coming of Jason Schmidt
I love the optimism in this video. As I was thinking the same thing once everyone is healthy. Although Snell would be nice insurance in case the worst happens
A lot of the pitching lab that created Gausman is gone
Bro, you earned a sub. Awesome video, can’t wait to see more 🫡
Who cares
What do the numbers next to the pitchers mean?
Please do more videos on the Giants 🙏🏽🙏🏽
dude what a great video. love to find a channel that makes it seem like they know my favorite team as much as i do
I am a Sem truther and I have a feeling this trade isn’t gonna end well for the Jays
Good channel, keep going. Need more of these channels without all the sensationalism, but if you go that route, I won’t hold that against you. Good luck, brother.
Good channel 🎉
Jordan Hicks is too nasty not to get going💯💯
Crazy that he almost got a ring last year😭
Angels Legend Brandon Marsh!!!!
He’s been better of late hasn’t he?
There’s nothing wrong with him. He’s just a very average MLB bat. Angels fans and management always get excited about one-season-wonders. Taylor Ward, Tyler Anderson and Aaron Loup are examples of this. Guys have ONE good season and suddenly they’re proclaimed as the next MVP/Cy Young winner.
The Thumbnail just reminds me of Chris Stapleton
so excited for baseball on today with tyler, its great to see you expanding!
Great vid btw
If he could count in for 20 homers from now till the end of the year, he’d be gold
I’d love to see Taylor Ward get back to his All Star 2022 form
GO HALOS!!!!
