We experience a Traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony
During our visit to our manufacturing partner’s office in Shenzhen, China, we had the privilege of experiencing a traditional Chinese tea ceremony. This serene and culturally rich practice offered us a glimpse into the artistry and mindfulness that defines Chinese tea culture.
The ceremony began with an introduction to Tie Guan Yin Oolong tea, a popular choice known for its floral aroma and smooth flavor. The tea master meticulously prepared the tea set, which included a gaiwan (lidded bowl), fairness cup, tea tray, and small tasting cups. The tools were not only functional but also symbolic of the precision and elegance of Chinese tea rituals.
The process started with “washing the tea” (洗茶), where the tea leaves were rinsed with hot water. This step was symbolic, signifying purification and awakening the tea leaves to release their full aroma and flavor.
Next came the brewing. The tea was steeped for a specific amount of time, and the tea master carefully poured it into a fairness cup to ensure the flavor was evenly distributed. We were then served the tea in delicate cups, each sip offering a perfect balance of sweetness and freshness.
We learned that each infusion revealed new layers of flavor, reflecting the complexity and depth of life itself. The tea master emphasized the importance of mindfulness-to savor the tea slowly and fully appreciate its nuances.
As the session unfolded, we were immersed in a tranquil atmosphere that fostered connection and gratitude. The tea ceremony wasn’t just about drinking tea; it was about understanding the culture, tradition, and mindfulness that shape this practice.
Amid Shenzhen’s modern skyline, this traditional tea experience reminded us of China’s profound cultural heritage. It was a perfect blend of modernity and tradition, leaving us refreshed and inspired.

Thanks for the feedback. English is not my first language and thus why we use the computer audio. I’ll try to speak in the other videos.
Hey! The creator is really dedicated to sharing these awesome tours, even going the extra mile with computer audio since English isn’t their first language. Let’s keep it positive and enjoy the unique insights they bring! We’re lucky to have such a cool perspective on these places 😊
Thank you very much. We really appreciate your kind words and support.
Even more stunning in real life 😍

U should go to see the Bangkok nightlife, where there are so many people on streets and doorway of nightclubs, both customers as well as women working in nightclubs and this in turn make the place more interesting and attract more tourists to come. Compare that to nightclubs in Manila ,and its obvious that each night club in Bangkok has 2 to 100 times more customers, compared to each nightclub in Manila. Lets compare number of tourists today in year 2024 in Philippines , to number of tourists a few years ago in 2019 during time of Duterte (the best ever President of Philippines ) before covid crisis . Number of tourists has fallen from 8 million foreign tourists in year 2019 during time of Duterte , to only 5 million foreign tourists in year 2024 (projected as year 2024 is not yet over ) , now that Marcos Bong the corrupt foolish politician is in charge in year 2024 . 30% to 50 % of working age Philippines people , are now unemployed on under employed, and large portion of Philippines people are so hungry everyday ,due to all very silly bad government policies. Infrastructure construction has also slowed down. Philippines politicians continue virtue signaling , while the country go down economically.
I have stated specifically that the Philippines economy does not solely rest upon “pretty” KTV girls soliciting customers along public pavements. Do not shift the goal post. BTW i am with you Duterte is Philippines’ Best President ever!
We agree that BKK nightlife is better. Will post a video on that soon.
Yes, we've heard many good things about him.
Watching the fat old western men walking hand in hand with girls who are barely of legal age makes me want to throw up.
Ermita+Malate look like complete ghost towns now, with so few people and almost no tourists. The hundreds of pretty ktv women no longer stand at door of the ktv clubs, but are being forced to hide inside ktv clubs , All because the previous Manila mayor wanted to act like a hero , and then he did virtual signaling to tell world he is a hero trying to protect the women, and he foolishly banned ktv women from standing or sitting near door of ktv clubs, with the end result that customers thought all ktv clubs are closed, resulting in no business for ktv clubs, which mean no business for the hotels and restaurants, which means no jobs for filipino people, and no tax revenue for the Philippines gov .
Interesting perspective.
It’s a stretch to claim that banning KTV girls from standing at doorways single-handedly tanked the entire Ermita-Malate economy. The area, like many tourist destinations worldwide, has been heavily affected by factors like the pandemic and shifting tourism patterns-not by a simple regulation change. The idea that the Philippines’ economy hinges on KTV club visibility is like saying Paris tourism would collapse if sidewalk cafés rearranged their tables! Ermita and Malate have always been more than KTVs-historical sites, art, and culture are abundant. The Philippines thrives on diverse industries: remittances, BPOs, and manufacturing, not door-girls. And while entertainment is part of the scene, it’s just one thread in a much larger tapestry. If KTVs want to attract customers, maybe it's time they focus on what’s inside rather than the sidewalk display. And let's be real, regulating where people stand isn't a hero move-it's just city planning.
Thank you for your insightful comment and for sharing your thoughts. We are excited to share more content showcasing the diverse aspects of the Philippines, beyond the usual focus on nightlife.
