I'd like to comment on the adorable car. I'm presently looking for a used vehicle and was disappointed to see it's discontinued in the US. Some 2008 and 2012's on the market. But not easy to get loans after on older than 2014. Beautiful little hatchback. Love your conversion too. Good success!

Where do you keep the crate and cushions when you are driving around?
The crate sits in the boot to one side. The cushions are strapped in where the rear seats would have been.

Sure. It's an adult Z bed/foam fold out bed. You need to buy one with covers that have zips. You can then remove one of the 3 pieces of foam and cut to size so it fits snugly in the car. I bought mine on bids on ebay so can't give an exact link. Thank you for your comment.

Hi, amazing build it looks great! Question: where did you get that retractable device and those hinges on the back? I want to encorporate this into my build, and found this design perfect for what I envisioned!
Thanks! The hinges are T hinges available from any DIY store. The folding legs use 2 folding shelf brackets (8 inch). You can buy these on Amazon or eBay - www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08PKNF3K6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1. Good luck with your build!
good build. If you keep the back seat and build the whole ting over it you are gaining more length from the front seat (because of the angle). 180cm. should be possible.
Interesting... I had a measure and I don't think as I understand your concept there would enough scope for length. The platform would also be a lot higher than the setup shown in vid. I've set up with the rear seats folded down and platform built over them - more length with this but again much less headroom above bed. Cheers for the comment 👍
