Nice video. How can I solve the issue of a shakey video, when I use a tripod for stability, the moment the object moves, video doesn't come out right. 😒

Would this lens be suitable for shooting a band play? Not sure what lens I would use, I mostly use this one for photos but have never used it for video.

I'm running Sonoma 14.5 on a $4K MacBook Pro M2 Max 16" and my Bluetooth is terrible. Audio is LAWAYS choppy on my Bose Revolve Soundlink II, Logitech Craft KB and Logo MX Master 3S Mouse and I am furious, that I have to go wired. I bought the MacBook pro and an Air to be portable and streamline. I had Hackintoshes since SL Intel, due to lack of funds to buy a cheese grater! Was proud as hell to get back to Macs. Silicone works like magic on FCPX. Can I buy a more powerful TB Bluetooth dongle?

Can you use this lens in auto focus?

it is a macro lens if you reverse it and hold it against the camera. you have to experiment with focus, though.

Thanks my guy! I got the canon r100. After messing around I found some sweet spots! like my AP can be base 4.5 with iso at 1000, and thats including the filter setting put under tungsten lighting!. At max it can be 2000 iso with like 6.5 ap it doesnt look grainy!

Unusable at f1.8 for portraits, too soft and does not sharpen up acceptably until f2.8. This has been documented in several reviews, so not pointing out this flaw in the lens is a disservice to your viewers.

For anyone wondering this is much better than the Sigma. The Sigma is 2nd place but I wouldn't even consider it a close second.

Anyone have issues with this lens kinda jumping back and forth when in AF mode? It’s like it tries to focus and then the motor just starts going back and forth and it doesn’t really stop. Not sure how to resolve.

How do you feel about your switch from Canon to LUMIX? I’m considering going from my R6 to the S5iix for all hybrid photo/video shooting needs. I’m concerned about the AF performance as compared with/ Canon, especially on the photo side. Have you had any such issues? Anything you think I’d regret if making that jump?

Stock Photography is basically toast. As a videographer I feel there will always be a need to capture raw footage- talking heads, events, concerts etc. to some degree. I agree - which content creator gets paid ultimately for the content AI "learns" from AKA "stealing"? - let me take a wild guess - nobody but the AI Company.
