Mr. Cool DIY 24k and 36k Mini split Air Conditioners for the Shop
มุมมอง 502 หลายเดือนก่อน
I picked up two Mr. Cool DIY mini splits for the shop. Both units are single zone and they are sized at 24k (2 ton) and 36k (3 ton). This should provide ample cooling and heating for the shop while being energy efficient. In later video's I will install insulation. But for now this will help keep the tempatures reasonable while controlling humidity. Below are the links to these Mr. Cool DIY min...

How To Break In A Portable Generator - The Right Way!
Can propose be used when breaking in?
Ford is not built to last. They make unreliable vehicles and many of their stealerships are either incompetent or corrupt.
That's very true and thank you for reminding me and sharing nice motor
I talk alot with bst ford. He has a FB page, do you???
Hi William. I do, search for Mikes Garage and hit me up on messenger
@MikesGarageRoute66 the 3 people I found were mechanics. Is there anyway you might be able to send a link in a description of 1 of 1 of your videos. If you could maybe help me to sort out how to dohc swap my crown victoria.
I've been talking alot with BST ford about the dohc swap on my 03 crown victoria cvpi. What I was wondering is if you had a list to change the car over to dohc properly?
I had a 5.0 5spd with a 3.27 rear. I put 3.73's in it and i should have left it alone. The 3.27 drove better. 1st & 2nd gear were to steep for the 3.73's. it was annoying.
Agreed I like longer gears as well
That panlong was broke when I got it, so I ordered another brand that is like a powder blue color, and it can just stay plugged in all the time, because it uses low energy Bluetooth, and it works amazing.
My 2018 Mustang GT has the same problem I can’t seem to find any good exhaust clamps. Which ones did you end up getting and did they even work?
Haha... it's funny listening to americans talk about needing the engine "white glove clean". People clearly are unfamiliar with what the rest of the world does.
I know the dude who owns it
4.30 is you’re all motor. 3.55 if you’re forced induction
Agreed
Dude those are great numbers! Juice job Man! I’m thinking about procharging mines.
Thank you Brad
Can't lift it?
Great update. I wasn't getting notified of your videos. I clicked on the bell and it was set to Personalized instead of ALL. Just a tip if you also aren't getting notifications.
Good tip and thanks for watching
Great video..
Thank you Bama!
This is gonna be an awesome place when you get it completed. What 3D printer did you go with?
It’s an older one that I bought years ago. It works decent for small things. I mainly use it with my daughter to make figurines like Godzilla and robots. I need to get more use out of it. Thanks for watching.

God said let there be light and you have plenty of it looks really good poor roaster LOL keep up the great work
Thank you Ford Dude
Damn Mike, Got me all jelly seeing those speakers and stereo setups. The lighting is awesome. I love 6500K lights in the shop. Cannot wait to see the finished shop. I should come in person and play some games on the arcade or the racing sim. Loved the longer video.
Thank you Pinks
Great video Mike thanks for sharing
Thank you very much Dale
Im having the same issue. What did you end up doing to seal em
I through it out. The cats started to come apart with very little mileage.
What do you mean by increasing the diameter of the master cylinder in and moving it ,The end of the video?
When you increase the diameter of the caliper pistons it will take more travel of the master cylinder to apply the same amount of pressure on the calipers. To counteract that you can use a master cylinder with a wider diameter if such a thing existed.
That looks great… I’ll give you a couple of pointers… Tap the edge of your forms with a hammer because it will take out all the voids and work the fines to the edge Every time you mix just put a couple of drops of dish soap in with the water when you’re mixing it up… It access air entrainment to protect it from freezing and Spalding Try not to spray down your concrete with water Maybe read up on doing a dry pour for your next pad if you want to be adventurous lol I love how you’re doing it yourself instead of calling somebody in… Nice work man
Thank you very much and that is some great advice!
John Mihovetz proved that the 4.6 DOHC is the real deal, guy went 5.80s at 250+ in the 1/4.
Yes he did
It's also good to know your transmission gearing as well when picking rearend gears. My 02 gt has a TKO 600 with a .64 overdrive, and a 2.87 1st gear, so i went with 3.90 gears, and it's perfect.
Absolutely! Thanks for watching
Awesome job MIKE. Thanks for sharing. Keep the content coming. Hope you have an incredible day. Much love and RESPECT
Thanks Tim!
For all intensive purposes I’d say it’ll do just fine Mike 👍🏻
Thanks Yellow Hammer!
How much power could I put down on a stock block, manley internals svt cobra 4v / mach 1?
What’s the rundown on your whole setup as far as parts and also your piston to wall clearance and ring end gap.
@@MikesGarageRoute66 I'm currently looking into the market because I'd like a budget muscle car I can bring to the cars and coffee. '99+ SVT Cobras as well as high-km Mach 1s are quite cheap rn. Suppose I buy one, keep the 4.6 4v block and replace the internals with Manley dished pistons and Manley H-beam rods, as well as rings, valve springs, and so on. Basically rebuilding the engine with some more suitable internals. How much torque could it take? What could I expect boost-wise? What kind of wheel horse would it do before the wap block cracks? I understand that the trans/rear will need some supported mods as well.
@@maybelive765 The NA Cobra’s and Mach 1 WAP blocks can hold over 1000hp. You can spend 15k for a Mach 1, put in 15k - 18k in parts and hit that goal. Or buy a 03/04 Cobra for 25k - 30k and also hit 1000hp. Either way will work. The main advantage to getting the 03/04 Cobra is prestige and resale. A 15k Mach 1 with 15k of parts is only worth 20k - 25k.
@@MikesGarageRoute66 Very true. Mach 1's are 10K out here, very easily. So that's why im kinda interested. vs a cobra is like 3-4 times the price.
Looks good but man can work fast I was getting tired just watching 😂😂😂 thanks for sharing
Thank you very much for watching Dale.
Loooks great Mike. Only way to learn concrete is by jumping in and doing it. Congrats on your first slab.
@@mrbreeze5556 Thanks Mr. Breeze!

Thanks for watching Harold
does it read the status dpf
Great question. I’m not too sure on that. I don’t have any diesel powered vehicles.
Making good progress Mike! Thanks for the update!
Slowly but surely getting there. Hoping to get it all squared away by summer. Thank you for watching!
I’m interested To see how these turn out
It should be good. I’ve been working every night and weekend getting things done. Thanks for watching!
Looking good kat things are coming together..
Thanks Bama!
So I'm assuming your building another chicken pen I had to just take a guess because you didn't say but question why build it so far away from the coop I'm assuming again your going to be moving the coop closer to the pen but it's all looking good and the little slabs for the units will work out just fine keep up the great work.. thanks for the update
Thank you Ford Dude. There will be a Chunnel connecting the two (chicken tunnel)
Awesome video brother. Thanks for sharing. Keep the content coming. Hope you have an incredible day. Much love and RESPECT
Thank you very much Tim!
Bro you lost me at Automatic put a damn TR3650 5 speed im there
The car had a 3650 for most of its life. I put in this built 4R70W which is a blast. I have a stand alone controller which is an absolute blast. Currently I have it shift at 6500 RPM's and have a manual mode setup as well. Manual mode is 1, 2, and Drive is 3 and only 3rd gear. I also have the converter unlocked and overdrive disabled in manual mode.
@@MikesGarageRoute66 once I whipple charge mine lets do a race video lol
@@TopMach1 You will probably be faster
Eatons just dont make alot of power you should do a 2.3 whipple
I've got a 2.2 Kenne Bell on the shelf. It will scream!
Are stock cams marked Krupp Presta in the 03-04 Mach 1s?
I have not heard of that before
Hey man was thinking about doing a 2.3 whipple supercharger on my Mach1 what all will I need thank you in advance lol
You would need forged rods and pistons. Unfortunately in stock form, it will grenade.
@@MikesGarageRoute66well damn how much are Termi rods?
Would love to have a garage with a house attached to it one day. Very nice Mike.
Thank you. I’ve wanted a garage like this for a very long time
I have a 1996 Saleen. I am swapping in a 1997 4.6 COBRA motor that I had laying around in the garage. Saleen put in a 3.55, but I bought a set of 4.3. The cobra motor is getting stage 1 cams and upped the compression to 10.5. do you think the 4.3 will be a bit much? should I just stay with the factory saleen 3.55? this is just going to be my weekend drive, and occasional stop light racer car.
4:30 would be fine if you don’t do much highway and staying NA. Otherwise 3:55 or 3:73 is good.
@@MikesGarageRoute66 it’s about 15 miles of highway to town. I’m not concerned about mpg, but more concerned about hurting the motor. Or taking it on a 2 hour drive to a show. So maybe 3.73?
Is it stick or auto?
@@MikesGarageRoute66 stick
@@bushmanj85 Go with 4:10’s
Mike, you are making great progress. Will be watching your results of preheating the intake air on your mini split in winter mode. Sorry to hear about Buttercup! Not exactly the best way to meet the neighbors.

Thanks Tim, I used to a very long time ago, but always kept my vinyl. Thanks again for watching!
@MikesGarageRoute66 YEAH those old vinyls are going top dollar nowadays. See not everyone here on TH-cam knew I used to promote bands back in the day. Was a lot of work booking clubs and making sure they got paid. Music industry has changed a lot. Had to retire after 28 yrs but still keep up with so,e of the artists

Looking good Mike sounds like you got a good plan looking forward to seeing how it all looks when your done.
Yes sir, this will be a fun week and will make a lot of progress
I know this video is 2 years old, but I wanted to ask if there was a reason why you chose to use the Cobra pulley bridge setup vs. the Marauder Eaton Swap brackets made by Gerry? I’ve done a ton of research and Gerry’s brackets have held up to 800hp without any belt slip issues. Thanks again
Great question. I went this route because I got a good deal on a complete Eaton Swap. I purchased it 3 years ago for 2600 including shipping.
@@MikesGarageRoute66That’s a steal of a deal since they go for double that now
@@KINGRG1 Yep, unfortunately most car parts have almost doubled. It’s making it more and more difficult to do cool things in this hobby.
@@MikesGarageRoute66currently in the middle of my Eaton swap so I appreciate this video but I ended up finding my complete swap kit for $2100 so that’s also why I’m going this route
@@MikesGarageRoute66 I was just curious if you know the forums say to just reinstall the power steering pump when I got my Eaton swap kit I was also given the 03-04 cobra power steering pump do I need to put the 03-04 one on
