While I may not post as often as I would like in the future, I hope to share many videos featuring my favorite shows and great songs. Hopefully some might be turned on to fantastic music while indulging in mutual obsessions. n.n
Lord of the Rings - Not Today
Lord of the Rings set to Not Today by BTS. This was the first song and media combination that came to mind when I thought about working on a video. Much of my life revolves around BTS nowadays, so I knew I needed to do something with them. So naturally, I was drawn to using the song that made me fall in love with the group. I had heard other BTS songs and thought they were good, but when I came across Not Today and noticed the LOTR reference, I was completely hooked and haven't been able to escape since. Can't wait to see them at Soldier Field in May.
Anyway, it has been sometime since I worked on a video. Since the last one I did, I have gotten a job where my time was very in demand as for some time we were extremely short handed. Even after we got more people I was scheduled where I only got single days off at a time which meant I spent most of that day running errands or doing housework. Thankfully, I have gotten to the point where I have been given the sort of days off that I want so there has been more time to work on things I have been putting off.
I don't know when I will be doing more videos though as Shadowhunters was my main source of inspiration and I have gotten behind on obtaining the episodes to work with. It has gotten to the point that I am not even sure if it is worth it to get all the vids and cut them down so I can try to work on something. But I do have so many ideas for songs that suit the show, so we will see.

Ah yes, they weren't used very much in the show, so it isn't super siprising that it could be overlooked. It's sad that they couldn't use them more, but with the budget they had to work with it does make sense.

Technically Alec is human, because he is mortal and he cannot do magic. he is just involved in magic. take (the redhead who is the main character, I forgot her name) for example, for the first 18 years of her life she was human, she wasn't any different from any other human. So if all the demons for some reason decide to go away, the shadowhunters just have to remove all their tattoo things (I'm sorry I haven't watched in a while) then they can live on as humans, nothing would be different from them if they removed their tattoos and the shadow world went to bother some other planet. (Alva Andersmark, I wouldn't REALLY say Alec is half angel because Jace is half angel, and that's much more different from Alec and the other shadowhunters. The shadowhunters are just on the angels side, and the downworlders are on the demons side.) okay imma go watch shadowhunters again (srry this is like 3 years late)
