Guardrails are designed to keep vehicles from straying into dangerous or off-limit areas. They minimize damage by keeping us in the safety zone. But the road isn’t the only place we need guardrails.

    God is bigger than your buildings. God made it possible to be spiritually fed through a buffet of ways. The online church is one way. We gather differently but we still gather. Your putting God inside a box and assuming God cant do this or that unless we meet in a church. Your wrong. God doesnt need a building to do work. The disciples were always moving. The veil was torn maam. The spirit now dwells everywhere and within us. The body is the temple.

    No ' church ' attendance is NOT mandatory? God HIM SELF showed us that. You spasmed out with the pandemic because you couldnt go to a building and put on a show!!! You never knew how to worship HIM!!!. TALK WITH HIM!!! HAVE RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM!!! not a building, a deacon, a pastor.

    This morning again was a wonderful message,a learning teaching message,I just love the Sunday morning service because it's about every day experience we all go through in life, the messages are encouraging, teaching us about the Bible passages we sometimes have so many questions about and it's great learning how we can help ourselves to be able to help others,this morning I learned about us been given our free will ,I had so many questions actually about that, so now I'm going to follow up every week,and ask follow up questions in our wonderful prayer group where I'm being helped with my learning process.Thank you father God.

    God sending himself to earth by impregnating a young girl so that he can have himself sacrificed to himself to atone for the sins of humanity, which are only sins because he made them so, to appease himself. This stuff is deranged. You're sacrificing your soul for the certainty of being told what is right and what is true. You're sick people who need help.

      Let’s not waste our times worrying about the thoughts and protests of a group of morally corrupt peoples… that’s all they are and all they’ll ever be, they’ve always been among us it’s just they feel a bit more confident to voice their opinions and they feel like what they are and what their doing is more acceptable because somehow in America particularly, not in the UK but in America their version of living and what’s acceptable is being taught in the class rooms… this is bigger than the lgbtq community, this is just another aspect of those in power attempting to reduce global populations, of which there is many aspects and means of achieving this… its real and it’s an agenda. That’s what you should be concerned about. So back to what started my rant off (I don’t apologise for my point but maybe how I go about proving it ) There is no need at all to feel concerned about their opinions. And there never will be.

    What a beautiful testimony that addresses so many things. From witnessing the change in your wife through fellowship and hearing her accounts from what was happening at church, to your own "prodigal return" to our Father. As I was listening there were many things coming to mind, "I will never leave you nor forsake you," "His steadfast love is from everlasting to everlasting," and I feel that the last one is "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible - to those who believe." I am so grateful that you shared this beautiful part of your journey - and I'm sure there's still a lot more to come. 😊 God bless you - and your praying wife ♥

    You would first have to identify which God you are talking about and then you would have to provide evidence that such a God exists. I often wonder when people keep searching for possible answers to a question when the most obvious is staring them in the face. There are only four possibilities: He doesn’t care about suffering. He can’t alleviate suffering. He causes suffering. He doesn’t exist.

      Hey Mike, thanks for the comment. I’d love to jump on a zoom call or something like that to chat about it more if you fancy that as it’s hard to have these kind of conversations via TH-cam comment section. What do you think about Jesus claiming to be from God, going through the pinnacle example of suffering (on the cross, while innocent, knowing it was coming, in view of your mother, at the hand of an occupying nation). His followers claimed to have seen him die and come back to life and over 2000 years later people still orient their lives around this person. They and many now are convinced he was from the one true God inspire of seeing him suffer the worst possible way. So his suffering didn’t do anything to their belief in the one God he claimed to be from? Why do you think that is?

    • @Bugsy0333
      @Bugsy0333 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @FBC_Church So I'm not exactly sure what your question is here. Can you rephrase it for me please ?

    • @FBC_Church
      @FBC_Church 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Bugsy0333 sorry for being unclear Mike. In other words, Jesus and his first followers saw and experienced great suffering but that didn’t stop them believing in a good God. What do you make of that?

    • @Bugsy0333
      @Bugsy0333 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @FBC_Church Thank you sir . I have no idea you would have to ask them. My question to you is how do you know that everything that is written within the Bible is actually true? With all due respect at times you're talking as if you were there yourself and witnessing in first-hand. For example The Bible has numerous authors, although most of them are anonymous and some even wrote using the names of esteemed predecessors. How many authors of the Bible actually ever met or new Jesus ?

    • @FBC_Church
      @FBC_Church 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Bugsy0333 great questions Mike. I hope it doesn’t sound like I’m thinking I’ve got all the answers. I’m just curious and sharing what exploration has looked like for me. You said that the authors were anonymous and not witnesses but there’s good evidence to suggest the the Matthew, Mark (Likely written alongside Jesus friend Peter) and Johns gospels were written by the people who witnessed Jesus life, teaching and resurrection first hand, and Luke wrote his account while people who were witness to these events were still alive to corroborate his testimony. It’s pretty well agreed by scholars that these four accounts were all written remarkably close in time to the events they describe. Our historical records for these documents are incredibly good, suggesting they’re as reliable if not more reliable that most other historical documents we have found from the time. I think a case can be made for these people to not be telling the truth, that's something I think we all need to decide for ourselves after reading them, but they weren’t mistaken, many of these people died for what they believed they saw. And we’ve got good historical evidence to suggest the documents themselves are reliable. Mike I understand the bible is a really vast array of literature and trying to tackle it all at once is a mammoth task. I'm a Christian though because I believe Jesus was who he said he was and that people actually saw him die and then alive again. My exploration has lead me to believe that event actually happened in history. If all I had were the accounts of his life, death and resurrection that was enough for me to start with. I know we can't just will something to be true, but as you're exploring, would you want it to be true or are you hoping its not?
