Projection Camera, 3D Printed Camera Using Old iPhone
Had a go at building a camera that works by projecting and image and then recording the projection using a mobile phone.
I love the effect and its simplicity, a little bit of experimental film making with a camera I built myself.

CCTV Movie Camera. 'VHS look' camera using scrap kit and parts.

I wanted to create a 'VHS' effect camera to enable a retro film look. This is a short film and explanation of how the camera was built. I've tried to put together something that looks like you found an old VHS cassette at the back of cupboard and played it to see what was on it.
GoPro Macro Camera Rig. Simple, quick and packs away.

Subscribe and ring the bell: bit.ly/3XwLuSW I needed a macro camera rig to film some of the closer details of the TH-cam filming projects I have planned. It had to be a quick and simple DIY project, using the GoPro Hero 10 Black I already have. I decided to use a macro lens adaptor for macro photography. This fitted onto the front of the GoPro 10 and had interchangeable lenses for different mag...

I set myself a challenge to run a half marathon for the Movember charity and it all started with an assembly I presented to the school I work at. I knew the route was further than half a Marathon and had never run that distance before. I didn’t want to do a road run. Some sort of trail running would be better suited to my search for adventure. The challenge was a virtual half marathon and was r...

Entertaining presentation. I can't decide between my T25 or Jetboil for car/motorcycle trips so I take both! The Jetboil superb for hot water and compact in the rucksack for hikes with a brew stop. Back at camp the Trangia takes care of slow cooking while the Jetfoil makes a cuppa.

Another option: cut the other corner of the heels from a similar pair of old running shoes and patch them to the worn out corner of this pair. Instead of throwing out worn out shoes (always on the same side of the corners), you use them as repair materials, extending the most recent ones’ life. And the quality of the repair materials are very similar to the ones that need the repair

Thanks for this. I don't run but I have exactly the same problem with Vibram-soled hiking boots: heels are wearing down on the corner but boots are otherwise in superb condition. I've tried Shoo Goo but it wears down too quickly. Going to give this fix a try.

I wear soles out, so I thought when you smeared the glue on, I can build up layers and voilà, new soles. Probably will have to sand them up a bit for a grip, but should be sound as a pound, nice one mate.

It's even faster with the pan as a lid! Take a look at the Trangia logo: The "T" is also the instruction manual! WITH the lid, the hot air builds up around the pot and can only escape if it flows under the edge of the lid over the upper edge of the windshield - but hot air wants to rise and not sink down. This is the only way to achieve acceptable cooking times with the alcohol burner and it saves a lot of gas with the gas burner!

Im not a specialist or anything but Ive been told that usually means yours stride is too long or youre not keeping your feet underneath you enough while youre running. Good luck and well done

Hi. Thanks for the comment. I’m not sure about power consumption but the voltage is 12v DC which is standard for CCTV. The pin configuration might be for DC pin1 / 12v pin 2 0v and AC pin 1 / pin 3 24v.

Something to keep in mind is that some tyvec is chemically treated to be mold and mildew resistant and you might not want that in contact with the things you're storing in the bag.
