Im going to have to try these. I only like a few bourbons here n there, these sound good. I have forester 1910, thats like the only good bourbon I tried. ALl others were all bad cheap horrible ones lol. So i look for reviews like this. l dont mind paying a bit more for good liquor these days. Hey i like that, gotta throw some responsibility away. HA..

D Rich I agree with you. It will be in everyone’s top bourbon by end of the year. But I believe we get very different notes from the same bottle. I wonder if this laser code is a real thing. But great review keep up the great work 👍🏾.

Passed on C batch last year. Not this year grabbed a bottle last week.

This is a huge winner! Love Lagavulin and Ardbeg - favourites - nothing comes close to Lagavulin 16! It was my gateway to scotch! Love peated scotch! This is a reasonably priced Ardbeg special release which is wonderful! Great review!

I got lucky and was drawn for this too bro!! So happy. Great review. I love it. It’s opened up since I cracked it a couple weeks ago. Cherry cola, charred oak, spicy orange zest. Heaven in a glass my dude!! Cheers!!!!

I'm in NC and our ABC stores have a very limited selections of Scotch's I was blown away when I happened into a small out of the way store and found a 14.1 for like $230.00, I'm still waiting to crack it open.. I wonder if you paid like 350.00 if the price has gone up that much or it's your location, still at that price it beats the Dark Arts 8.1 at $525.00 which I saw last week.

Man Drich. I just do not like Tequila cask whiskies. Lol. I've tried that one and the Deanston. All I taste is the Tequila. Everything else Lagavulin I love. Good review though.

Fantastic! I spend so much on Ardbeg that I never get to buy Lagavulin. Sounds delicious though!

Offerman has visited Lagavulin. He is a huge scotch fan. I love the 3rd Offerman expression. I prefer the 16 or the Distiller’s Edition but this is a beauty!

I’ve had that bottle for about 9 months & have yet to pop it. It being JD’s first American single malt makes me wanna hold onto it & see if the value goes up. I’m definitely excited to open it up when the occasion calls. Great review cheers 🥃

I was lucky to have a few pours of this a few months ago and I thought it was awesome. Wish I could have found a bottle. Some didn't like it so much but I figured it's because of their personal expectations from JD or they don't enjoy scotch. One probably wouldn't have expected a single malt from them. Cool vid. 💯

I'm definitely irresponsible as well - just paid 136.99 in Michigan for this one. Wasn't hunting it, but was talked into it by another hunter in the store. First 'cigar blend' I've tried, and I really enjoyed it. Love your reviews!
