My earliest Music influence was my Uncle Igeary, who introduced me to the "Floyd Cramer" piano style at the early age of 3. He also took me to my first Concert. I was privileged to have met and talked with Floyd Cramer twice, as well as interviewing him for a High School Radio Show. Playing piano led on to Ronnie Milsap, Pigg Robbins, then on to the "Awesome 80's" as we call it.
{ Floyd Cramer's Grandson, Jason Coleman now carries on his Granddads music, travelling all over the country with his "Legacy of Floyd Cramer" show. He is also involved in radio on WSM. A Link to Jasons website is below }
I live in the Tri-Cities Tennessee area (Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol) .... I hope you will enjoy my channel here.

"Rocky Top Tribute" .... to the Tennessee Vols
There's a lot of U.T. Volunteer Fans at my church (since we ARE in the Volunteer State ). As a fun project, I Produced this Light Show Tribute for them. I edited 4 different verses together, Osborne Brothers / Charlie Daniels / Dolly Parton & the U.T. Band itself. Then I wrote the DMX Program for our Stage Lights. There is also pictures that accompanied this during the actual playing. Hope you enjoy it .. Go Vols!!

@@enayoung3600 When I listen to my music I try to make this the last.
Not only was Floyd born with this wonderful gift, he was also a genuinely lovely man. I never tire of listening to his music. Gone but not forgotten ❤.
CHAMA NA MATRACA
Excellent.
Okay. Just because he’d a huge hit with “Last Date”, but Hargus “Pig” Robbins who took over for Floyd was a hundred times better, and in the end, the Nashville A-Team quickly found themselves with a better pianist…….
Floyd Cramer. You can see/hear he really enjoyed playing the piano. I have really enjoyed watching/listening to both him & good ole Boots !!!! Love, K Bergman
This is when.....music was music. This is when....entertainers truly entertained. Can't get any better than this. Love, K Bergman
Floyd had that trill in the fingers. Timeless
No one else could play a slip note like him, that is for sure. He made any piano he played sound almost magical.
Trill ! Great description😊!
I must be getting old. Floyd Cramer was an incredible talent hard to believe so few listen.
One of my all time fave
I swear to God I can hear Prince’s “Let’s Go Crazy” seeds in here!!! GENIUS RECOGNIZES GENIUS. 🔥
Boots Randolph. The best sax player ever to set foot on this planet.
I WILL NEVER GET TIRED OF LISTENING TO FLOYD CRAMER. I KEEP ONE OF HIS CD'S IN MY CAR PLAYER AND AT HOME. HE WAS ONE IN A MILLION,
Two Greats
Actually there are 3 greats - don't forget Floyd Cramer.
@sandramarshall518 my mistake (sorry)..of course Floyd Cramer is a total legend!
@@3107197000 That's quite alright, we all make mistakes. It's just that I absolutely love Floyd Cramer - I've never heard anyone play the piano like he does and I listen to him all the time. I think that he is pretty special.
The only country sax player!
My music teacher was right. When I started to learn to play the tenor saxophone, he told me to listen Boots Randolph.
Oh, such a shame that the chat between Boots and Floyd wasn't included in this clip.
There are more videos from this same episode on my channel.
@@JRPearcy Please can you tell me what your channel is, I have watched quite a lot of your video clips with Floyd and thoroughly enjoy them. Thank you. 😊
Les deux meilleurs... ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉😂😂

Best Player ever heard..the same profesional as Pete Tex in Germany
I am surprised that there are so few views. There aren't many video clips of Floyd playing live. Thank you for uploading these videos, I wish you had more. I enjoy watching them over and over. Thank you again.
Ralph Emery would come to my town every year to do the Lion's Club Telethon of Stars and nine months later, the birth rate would quadruple.
This is my favourite, love to watch Floyd play live.
Floyd Cramer was amazing
No matter what music, given Floyd Cramer's touch, like magic, it turns into something beautiful.
A beautiful song played on the piano by the best pianist, sadly no longer with us but he has left us with a wonderful legacy and thanks to TH-cam we can enjoy all of it over and over. ❤
This is what I call Piano Magic. No matter what type of music Floyd Cramer played he turned it into magic. He may not be around but his legacy lives on❤
Beautiful song and even beautiful message
But there never seems to be enough time To do the things you want to do once you find them I've looked around enough to know That you're the one I want to go through time with
interesting
I Refound it ! Its still sad ):
This looks slightly different than the last one, maybe its just me
Couldn't be better!
멋진 신사의 능숙한 공연 연주에 푹빠져듭니다 ❤❤❤❤응원합니다 ❤❤❤❤
It don't.get no better than this!!💞💯💋
How right you are, he was the best saxophonist to ever set foot on this planet. Never to equalled, never mind overtaken
Thats when music was seriously good. Sure wish all music could be as good as it was in the day's that this kind of talent was the standard style of Great Men in the music industry. How Sweet it Was !❤🎶
ABSOLUTELY LOVE... LOVE... LOVE FLOYD CRAMER!!!
He is best
Played by ear. Never learned to read music. What talented men. The best piano player ever
