I have competed in bodybuilding (Bikini/Masters) since 2013 and placed 2nd in (2013) and 1st in (2016). I have also competed in Pole Dancing Level 2 championships (Masters) and placed 1st. This is part of our Latino religious and cultural traditions. Please know it makes a lot of Latinos uncomfortable when it is culturally appropriated. I'm a dude, so I don't exactly wear low-rise jeans, but I do wear my jeans settled on my hips. I don't like my jeans squeezing on my stomach, it just makes bending over awkward. Low jeans are better for everything, whether it's pulling weeds or skateboarding. If you're worried about plumber's crack, just tuck your shirt in... It's less frumpy and looks better anyways...
