Me want one now. You should either get this shit rolling in production, or just start doing one off orders or something man, if none of those work out please put the plans online for us to build our own!!! I am looking for a new project and couldn't decide between another eBoard or bike. But this would kick em both down the line if I knew how!?!
We're really close to production, we just have some final details with the CNC machined parts to iron out. We already have all the batteries, motors and speed controllers for the first batch of 50. 30 are spoken for, we're keeping five for demos and testing, so we'll have fifteen in stock soon.
What was the cost to diy one of these? I'd have to find someone else to build the steering mechanism n such or figure it out but I'd gladly buy one of the price is right, I just finished my diy longboard. It tops out at 57 lol but I'm finding it to not be too practical at that speed and realizing 30 is actually a better top end than I gave it credit for lol. Anyways.. how much!?!?!?

How is your RnD at the moment. I am very interested in that product. I looked at other boards with full suspension and four big offroad wheel, but looks way more interesting because it seems to require some actual skill. Please keep me updated on your process. Also, please make a Facebook page.

I live in Toronto so I dont really need long range or anything faster than 15mph with solid airless tires. Do you think you will be making something like that anytime soon??? Looks like a fun machine.
the steering mech is pretty simple anyone can make it! Thanks Speedboard for showing us how we all can make one!
Good luck! You can read all about how to make it in the $10k patent I filed. Should be fun to see what people come up with in 19 years after it expires!
The possibilities for this are greater than any other pev. With a little luck this will go global. I wish I were twenty-five years younger :o/
Thanks Mac!! You gotta try it, it's surprisingly easy to ride! Just gear up and you'll be safe, we have a few older folks that ride with us.

Very Cøöl# I think it would be better with the motor inside the wheel and, feet protections To prevent feet from touching the wheel 🏄⛹️🤾🏀🏂🕉️🎶🕉️🌞💕
Id be curious to know what is better for the motor. It seems like it would take a beating inside the wheel the whole time. It may have better longevity if it was attached to the board somehow.
Would not feel safe riding one of these in traffic, what happens if someone walks out in front of you, do not see any brakes, just motor decelerate, I take it?
I like what I am seeing, but I will never again spend that kind of money on a Kickstarter or Indigogo project again after getting burned once. I do want one of these once the final version, or something beyond the "investment" level becomes available.

Great to see! I've had a similar design rattling around my head for a while and love your solution for the steering mech. I agree with Josh on the hub motor set up but i would go with two wheel drive and two brakes. Good luck on the Kickstarter, looks like you're already over the target.
Thanks Sean! The problem with hub motors is they weigh twice as much but make half as much power. We'll make a smaller hub motor powered version eventually. This is intended as the flagship, no compromises model.

Why not make it a hub motor, less maintenance and quieter, chain drive seems outdated.
Hub motors are twice as heavy with half the power, this is intended to be the no compromises high-performance model.
