GliderTrust
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 23 ม.ค. 2009
The Assault Glider Trust was established in 2001 when veterans of the Midland Branch of the Glider Pilot Regiment Association decided to build a complete Airspeed Horsa assault glider to serve as an appropriate memorial to airborne forces based in the Midlands. Today, not one complete, authentic example of a Horsa exists anywhere in the World.
The main purpose of the organisation is the conservation of historic aircraft and artefacts relating to airborne operations during WWII and to educate current and future generations through visits, exhibitions, lectures and workshops. The aircraft currently in the Trust's collection are the Airspeed Horsa Mk I, Douglas C47 Dakota, Waco CG-4A (Hadrian) and the Tiger Moth EM840.
Further information about the Trust can be found on the website: www.assaultglidertrust.co.uk
