She can "Belt" but she can't sing... actually. Don't get me wrong... she having one of strongest & best vocal... but she can't carry a song. One of reason why Mariah became almost an over-night sensation because she can actually carry a song without all belting & fancy notes...

@@austinjt4264 Oh Austin, give it a rest... I love me some Mariah, but present day Mariah is not coming anywhere near this rendition we just heard from Patti. Let's be serious. Not only can Patti sing, but she can SANG! This was a masterclass performance.

@@AnalyzingWithAaron That's just you being deaf & willfully blind. Mariah can still pretty much belt her lungs out if she wanted too... But I think she doesn't want to risk because of her nodules, there is risk of failing and everytime she risk it and fail, the media don't give her a break. Another thing is, I think she's too big... There are big people that their weight didn't effect their vocals like Lizzo... But there are people like me... same with Mariah, we're ones of the people that even gaining 1 pound, can cause breathing issue. Whenever I so much gain just half a pound, I'm having a hard-time talking. But I think Mariah is getting thinner, that's why she sound pretty much better now! As for Patti, like I said... She can Belt, but not singing. If you removed all her Highlight, her voice is very bad... Like this song, if you listen to the part where she sang, it sounded horrible. You should watch her sings Mariah's Hero... She sounds creepy as hell! No disrespect... it just is. Patti is Patti, so when she sings Hero, people will just applaud for her being Patti... But Patti's version of singing Hero, if the exact voice & tone of how she sounded in that song, belong to a NOBODY... People would drag singer through the mud! I listen to Mariah's Hero close to a hundred thousand times... But I couldn't sit still and listen to Patti's version at all, not even once!!!

@@AnalyzingWithAaron Another funny thing is that.... Everyone keep piling on Mariah for not being able to sing the way she is used to... While willfully & blindly ignoring the fact Mariah's songs are very big and would ruin most vocals... on top of that, she had a Nodules condition and we still not know the damage rates it would cause to her voice box, compare to someone who don't have it given all the big songs she sang her whole life. For most people, having Nodules, it makes them hard to talk... it takes alot out of them just to talk... So imagine the tolls it took on Mariah when she forces those Belts & Whistles out... So compare her to someone healthy is like comparing someone in a Crutch to someone who can walk without one. And up to this very day... Not a single Singer Old or New is able to sing Mariah's songs in Original Note... During Mariah's prime, when she covered someone, she surpassed their original notes completely. But to this day, none managed to surpassed her.. not even Arianna Grande. Not even the mighty Patti can't sing like Prime Mariah... that's the truth, no hate. NO ONE has been able to surpassed Prime Mariah... If you ask them to sing Hero, We Belong Together... No one can do sh1ts but they all have the audacity to laugh at 50yrs old Mariah for not being able to sing like her 20s!!! Another thing, ppl keep praying Whitney... While blissfully ignoring the fact that Whitney was unable to sing to the point where audience demands the refund of their ticket back and that was her downfall. If gonna judge somebody, be fair... Even Mariah calls it out... She have said, it seemed everyone placed a different set of rules on her! Such as Celine, the reason she still have her voice, because she lipped 97% of her life. And while everyone know that, everyone still defends her and me personally, I do find her performances very enjoyable, even if it's lipped. But the moment Mariah lipped, the media shred her into pieces! So my question, how do you supposed Mariah can keep her voice... if she never got a chance to rest? You don't have to sound like her...... But I would like you to test the theory... Get her concert DVD, find out what song she for the entire 2hrs. Have same song on Karaoke and belts those note out and see if you can still talk after 2hrs! And then belt the same songs again tomorrow, for another 2hrs. And we'll see how many you do that... Then look back on how Mariah is being forced to run her whole tour LIVE!!! Even Talyer with Era Tour is lipped 95%.

@ lol 😂 Austin you’re too cute. Like I said, I love Mariah she’s one of the greatest ever. But you’re wrong, buddy. Some of what you said is right, but irrelevant. Patti nailed this performance, even Mariah was amazed. You seem like you have a lot to say. We can talk on the phone if you want.
