I have had an amazing opportunity to own a 2023 C8 2LT, Z51 Corvette in Hypersonic Gray since mid August 2022. I waited 2 weeks short of 2 years to receive the C8 & although frustrating waiting so long it was well worth the wait. My videos will show my C8 from delivery day to receiving some basic modifications. I love cars & want to share some info & videos of my C8.

I added Paragon Performance carbon fibre mirror caps to complement the carbon fibre 5vm aero installed & ran over a nail that was too close to my tire sidewall on the passenger rear. The shop said can't be repaired, so only 10 days of use & 500km of road time the beautiful Michelin Pilot Sport 4s was put to rest after such a short life. I agree with you, screws are way too short, its cumbersome to place fins perfectly offset from the centre. I was using a lift at a commercial oil change shop & they requested that I didn't film.

21x12 rear and 20x8.5 in the front, it creates a nicer stance.

Hi, the roof wrap here in Canada cost me $700
I’m surprised you didn’t back it in on the other side. You can get closer to the wall, and it eliminates all the walking traffic and potential bumps carrying stuff to the house.

Good video! I didn't know that you can do this yourself at your house. Also the drill polish attachments were a great alternative over buying a couple hundred dollar 3 inch polisher, and they weren't sketchy like something on aliexpress where they usually sell this type of thing.😂 One bit of video editing feedback though. Try to play with the transitions between clips as some sound like they are cutting your voice off but others are good, not sure if the clip ends of if it was cut or something else.

My goal was to not be distracted/disturbed every time I walked by my scratched up carbon fiber splitter. The work i did was not perfect but it saved me some cash & shops were not very interested in taking on a small job like this.
How much were the rims ?

I just bought a 2023 convertible corvette 70th anniversary edition with carbon flash metallic, and I love it. I also got it ceramic coated, PPF, ceramic tinted. I have to say the color looks twice as nice since I have done that. I have one big problem with it....I can't get it from the wife.....lol...😄😄

The black wrap is excellently done! Makes the side profile of the car look more elegant and less bulky in that mid section. I think the red calipers are a nice accent and totally goes with the overall exterior/interior color scheme. Nicely done!
I agree the black wrap breaks up all the grey & adds another colour element which goes well with the overall look of the car, i prefer some colour on the calipers, the red goes with the interior red & engine cover. take care!

the coupe is great for me, the roof comes off easy & it feels like a convertible, I am not a convertible guy & always go for the coupe - the removeable roof included is a great value.

for me taking the roof off the coupe is more than sufficient, it takes a few minutes & it is a large opening almost feels like a convertible.

Hi, the roof wrap is black & matches the existing black on the C8 perfectly.

Did you go with factory sizes for your Vossen wheels or did you do 21" back and 20" front"? Did you lower it at all? Thanks
I went with 20 front 21 rear, slightly larger rim improves the stance in my opinion, i have the front lift so i haven't attempted to lower car at this point, if i didn't have the lift i would have probably lowered it slightly using the coilovers, i find that the front lift is definitely beneficial where i live dealing with all sorts of bumps on the road

I am about to be buying a 2023 C8 corvette in a week. It is a toss up between the yellow or the 70th anniversary edition package carbon flash metallic. They both are convertibles and both are 3LT. I am buying it for the wife as a valentines gift.

I did the same thing: I had Blackout Tinting pick my 2022 C8 HTC picked up at the dealership and transported it via an enclosed trailer to their shop at the end of February 2022. The dealership was kind enough to keep it in their showroom from the arrival date 2/14/2022 until they took it to the Latrobe PA Shop. Got the OEM Battery Protection Package too as mine was going to be in Hibernation Mode until April or May.
