Trisha Noble, who played the role of Heiress Phyllis Morley, the conniving adopted daughter (Killer), sadly died in January 2021, at age 76, due to mesothelioma. She was an accomplished trainer dancer and singer, as well as an actor... a "Triple Threat" as the acting world calls such a performer. You found the dinner scene! My siblings and I memorized this movie. As kids we would watch it, rewind it and watch it again. We recorded it off the TV with this scene, and then had to rerecord it, but the dinner scene was gone. We quote it all the time. Thank you so much for posting this!

Remember only seeing these scenes on broadcast TV as a kid. Have the DVD and still alot of great memories, scenes there or not. Thanks for sharing these btw

Wow! I was floored when I realized someone had this content. I barely remember watching the TV version as a teen. In the mid-90s I bought the VHS. I practically wore the tape out watching it. Since then this movie has become my all-time favorite. I, like so many others, have dreamed of watching the deleted scenes. I also dream of the day when I can find an uncut letterbox version. I was wondering if you have a Dailymotion account. If so what is it. Once again very cool and thanks

Fascinating. I had never seen this before nor even knew it existed (and I grew up watching this movie all the time). Truthfully, I can see why they cut it and if I had to choose between the two, I would rather have the peach scene.

WOW! Thank you so much for sharing! I’d been looking for this “wet paint” scene forever, as the blu-ray didn’t have it. (I'd forgotten the Dinner scene was gone too but remembered it verbatim.) We had taped The Private Eyes off television as a kid and it must have been 1984, because this was the version I’d watched over and over again as a kid. When I finally got the Blu-ray a few year ago, I was so bummed all this stuff was gone but replaced with the “peach eating” scene. Sheesh. But yes, support Tim Conway in all he does, even if its the peach eating scene. The man’s a comedic treasure.
