      @@weednose42069 it’s definitely tough because everyone wants what they want they moment they want it, but I definitely feel that these generations coming up have it worst because they don’t have to wait for anything. If they want to watch their favorite shows they can stream it on demand. They can flip through 20 reels in 2 minutes and download video games online vs going to GameStop.

    You sound like a bitter Betty.... Jealous of a woman more successful than you? She took her 15 minutes of fame and turned it into a career I find that impressive.

    Lack of sympathy for what he was going thru??? He was totin guns acting like he was thug when he grew up as a private school boy and is making millions as a kid.

      @@xVERT4x I agree that what he did wasn’t something to be tolerated. I’m saying in todays age, typically our immediate reaction is to check on the mental state of the person, but I believe because of the arrogance he showed, it changed our normal reaction to “he’s getting what he deserves” which was interesting to watch. Imagine if someone like Michael B Jordan did what he did, everyone would be asking for people to check on him to see if he’s okay. Does that make more sense as to what I’m getting at?

      @@xVERT4x Agreed. It makes absolutely no sense when that wasn’t how he was raised and nobody is asking him to behave like this. I’m very interested to hear when he gets older what was going through his head because it didn’t start until he got to the league which is weird to see

      @@javoncareer4871 it’s sad. I feel like people need to learn that we are on a lot shorter leash than we think with people and how our actions affect public perception of us. Not saying we need to care heavily about peoples opinions like that, but we also need to understand that no one gets anywhere in life without the help of someone else, and our actions can affect their willingness to aid in our life pursuits

      @@michaelkearney1313 I see your point, I've learned that if you seek to the please the heavenly Father in Jesus Christ, you can freely serve others without people pleasing and selfishly focusing on self. Many people can help you, but it's God that gives the increase.

    Thats not true. If you want to live like jesus then live like him, turn that cheek and help those people. Dont twist his words to fit your narrative.

    • @michaelkearney1313
      @michaelkearney1313 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Sqweegi my point is that this idea that in every situation you have to “turn the other cheek” is a myth. Jesus Himself flipped tables when he saw wrong being done and literally ran people out of the temple. He took every opportunity to put the Pharisees and Sadduccees in their place when they questioned His behavior which many times didn’t align with the “turn the other cheek” mentality. Yes, there are instances where you need to be the bigger person, but the example Jesus Himself set is that this teaching isn’t for every situation, and the instances where it didn’t for Him were ones where He was acting in defense and support of what He knew was right, which is why I said being a Christian is “standing up for what you stand for”.

      @@Sqweegi I do want to also say that I do agree with you that 90+% of the time we should follow that teaching. All I’m saying is that it’s not 100%. Not to abandon it entirely. Like I think we can both agree violence and killing is wrong, but if it were wrong 100% of the time, why did God give Samson back his strength for the sole purpose of smiting Gods enemies?

    You guys are trying too hard man. This is the problem with man stop doing God‘s job shut up. Follow his word as men and women do your best to do that and just do that. He already seen that humans are retarded. That’s why he sent his son to die just so that his father don’t kill everybody. You can’t do nothing you can’t, figure it out your brain. Don’t work like that.

      Appreciate you taking the time to comment your opinion my brotha. You bring up good points. I will say the Bible tells us to spread Gods word and His teachings so I personally view it is our job to have these convos, but we can agree to disagree. You are right in that He sent His Son to die because of man’s behaviors not aligning with Gods desires, but that doesn’t mean we just sit on our hands and not try to be the best we can be through discussions like this. The question I have for you is based on what you said about trying too hard. Why is it that whenever people want to have discussions about faith, it’s trying too hard, but we can talk about everything else under the sun and its grits and gravy? If someone wants to have podcasts talking about sports, murder, or sex we let them do them, but as soon as it’s about God, it’s trying too hard? Because the young lady in the video is not preaching or quoting scripture, she’s just saying she feels God puts us in positions to fail so we can find ourselves. If she said “the universe” or “life” would that make this video less try hardy? Because I don’t think you have an issue with the message she is saying, you have issue with us talking about God, and I would love to talk more about that to understand your perspective if you are willing to have the convo.
