I managed to make myself believe I wasn't intelligent enough to study the law, without even trying because I was in compare and despair! So when I FINALLY, took only 4 years from deciding that I HAD to do it, picked up the courage to APPLY, with help, I was accepted for the following year! Hoooray! Sorry but some of us buried our tool box a long time ago in our childhood, OR the toolbox we were GIVEN by our parents is dysfunctional and broken... The water is gross, the food is moldy, and the flare gun only produces smoke It actually CANNOT come out without help from others It's not about mindset it's about actually being given the tools and tools that work

It's crazy, as an adult & single mother with expenses, I find it difficult to give when I'm already struggling. But as a child, we were poor & received the holiday baskets each year. As young as I can remember, whenever I got money, change, even if it was just a penny, I would donate it to the bell ringers at the holidays (it's a local holiday thing where volunteers collect money for the salvation army or food pantries during the holiday season). But I gave what I had as a child because I knew what we would be getting in the baskets was more than we would ever have without them. 🤔 A mindset I should fall back on more often as an adult.

I needed to hear this today. I have had restless nights and days since hiring a coach to start my business. I resonate with this conversation and the self-sacrifice yes, I understand this. Questioned why I am doing this and or so loyal to the point of self-sacrificing. Thank you for sharing and being vulnerable. 💕 I felt connected on with you were sharing and speaking on. I feel I could speak on more of what you said.

Perfect timing, I just finished a book by Matthew Kelly called "I Heard God Laugh" which suggests making daily prayer a habit. And the first thing you can do is focus on what you are grateful for today. Bringing you into the present moment definitely allows for more Hope in our lives.
