The change of intro for me is positive, music was too nostalgic for me. The 'asmr effect' also has the sounds of a flowing river, summer thunder or perhaps the hum of a flying plane. You might consider if you can find a good sample. I'm watching another collector on youtube who doesn't like digipacks because the cardboard gets damaged after a short time (he takes good care of the items, keeps most of them in special wrappers). He appreciates standard plastic cases more, because of its durability (the thicker the plastic the better). I found this video very enjoyable, interesting titles. I have seen some old American horrors, they were good but not particularly appealing for me, maybe these are better, I hope to check it out someday🌲

I saw this movie a few years ago. It made a good impression on me. 3 months ago I watched “What ever happened to Baby Jane?” with Joan Crawford and Betty Davis. For me, "What ever..." is Robert Aldrich' take on “Sunset Boulevard”. Both films are great but the Aldrich one is a bit more interesting to me. Thank you👍

I have commented so far with one-two words, because I thought that a mere comment would be enough for the youtube algorithm. recently, i read in the comments that there must be a minimum of seven words. i don't know if this is true, but i will probably insert longer comments, but i warn you that they will probably be strange, just to write something.

If you hadn't said I wouldn't have noticed the difference between the recordings. but as I compared the different recordings, I think I even like the last one a little better, in the previous ones, the sound is a tad too harsh, too clean for me. in 'asmr' I like a bit of carelessness, 'white noise', 'lo-fi'. sound volume is right.

I have to mute the music from the intro, because it drags me into nostalgia😵‍💫

The BFI restoration is not the same one Criterion did for Ikiru. Criterion did their own for that 2015 release then Toho did additional restoration work on it 2016 to release in Japan& that's what BFI has used for their release, therefore the BFI restoration is a more updated & slightly better restoration of them.
