Well, he gotta use his slender frame the best he can, which is not starting a slug fest with a stronger, more explosive opponent. He works from the distance and then enters the clinch - both of which is his advantage being the taller fighter. Can't really see how else he should have approached an opponent like that in an intelligent way.
