In this AutoCAD Tutorial I will show you how to make an editable Title block and Drawing sheet for printing or PDFs at A3 size which prints correctly without using print to scale.
I use A3 PDFs as my default print size in AutoCAD so I thought I would show you how I made my drawing sheet, which doesn't require use of the "Fit to Paper" option and can be scaled from, if needed.
My title block and drawing sheet have the following editable attributes or features:
1) Drawing Number
2) Drawing Title
3) Drawing Type
4) Project Name
5) Client Contact Details
6) Designer Details
7) Logo
8) Drawing Control / Revisions List
9) Notes List
Even though I always try to make my drawings printable to scale, I always add the 'Do Not Scale' note to them because you don't know how someone is going to use / mis-use your drawings in the future.
