What's up! I have had the blade come loose a couple of times when swinging for a while or if you hit the blade a few times. This saber is truly amazing but it would not be my go to if you want to practice spinning/swinging since the "power box" is rather bulky and gets in the way. I would recommend the Prodigal Son v1 or v2 for Spinning, and this saber for film accuracy and esthetics. The Jinn Saber is awesome too for Spinning/swinging.

It was pretty bad that's for sure. I really hope they start listening to their audience because this one flopped hard for me and I have been pretty optimistic. They need to just leave this show where it lies.

I know EXACTLY how you feel! It was my favorite as well when I was growing up. Watching the VHS and seeing him ignite his saber for the first time over the Sarlacc pit, in all it's green glory, core memory. This is what it's all about! You're going to love it. When you select the Luke font and you hear that ignition, it's overwhelming 😭

I think either way you would be happy with your purchase! I think if you are looking to mainly practice spinning I would recommend the graflex or one of the Prodigal Son affordable versions. If you want screen accurate go for the one.i got the Prodigal Son ROTJ. I saw go proffie but SNV4 is really nice too. You won't be disappointed!

Awesome dood! I would recommend this saber if you want a replica saber that you can spin with ease. I want the Anakin saber as well!

What's up! No I haven't tried to do any of that yet since it's a bit more complicated than just plug and play. I do intend to learn at one point when I have time.

Great question! So it actually unscrews on the top third of the hilt relative to the emitter. Basically right above the ignition button. It's on there tight so you gotta give it a little strength at which the whole top third of the hilt will come off, emitter and all. Be careful when doing so to not damage the pins on the board (proffie/SNV4) you then just need to pull the board chassis out, plug in your USB-C plug right in and your good to go! No need to remove the battery from chassis. I hope this helps!

It's really underrated IMO I love it. Regarding the retention screws, because I swing it around pretty frequently so I screw them in really tight but only to the point where I can't tighten any more. You don't want to tighten too much because you'll strip the retention screws.

Exactly! I love my Luke saber but this is the best for spinning

It's alot deeper than my Luke Skywalker lightsaber and the blade is super easy to secure. The design of the emitter allows for a secure blade fastening

Dood yes!!! I can still remember the commercial with the taco bell Chihuahua, Colonel sanders and the pizza hut employee looking out the grassy hill battlefield on naboo as the droid army was deploying. That lives rent free in my mind hahaha

Yes exactly! It's my personal favorite too! The ignition is the best and whenever I'm spinning my saber around I usually default to Vader.

What's up! I think there are some functionality differences but what matters what board you have in your the hilt. Like if you get a cheaper saber with a proffie board in it, then it would come standard with these features

@@connorsharo8273 Whats up man. I actually just got my Qui-Gon lightsaber that has the same battery style. I charged mine for a little bit not fully so I'm not too sure. I'll be releasing a review video soon and I'll be sure to add a bit in there for you. Mine is a single button Proffie. But if you are having issues you should contact Theory Sabers Support.

Hey man, I just charged my battery. Like you said the Blue light is constantly on, but I unplugged the USB C and then plugged it's back in. No blue charging light which I assume means the battery is charged.

Hey Man, I'm assuming you've tightened everything up to its limit right? This saber from my experience isn't the best when it comes to making hard contact. Usually it takes about 3-4 HARD hits for it to loosen up for me. I don't use mine for dueling. I would reach out to Theory Sabers customer support if this doesn't help you out.

Whats up man thanks for watching. Where the blade connects is rather shallow, and the top part of the emitter with the 5th screw does secure it. However, if you do hit it a couple of times HARD it does loosen up and the pins in the emitter won't make a proper connection to the blade. A quick tighten of the screws will fix it. This is a fun saber to swing around rather than bash it against objects or other sabers (even though the blade can take the beating)

Hmm, I'm wondering of mine might have an issue. I do this exact process and no matter what, it starts losing connection

Hey man, After you fasten everything is your blade wobbly at all? When I am initially tightening of the bottom screws, am pushing down the blade slightly to ensure that the pins are making connections to bottom of the blade. Also, if it is not straight and tight on the bottom fastening screws, when you tighten the 5th screw on the top of the emitter it might shift the blade off the bottom pins. If you've done all of that I would recommend sending a support request to Theory Sabers.

Hey Wesley I have had some issues here and there but only after swinging it around for at least 20mims non stop. I just tighten the four screws at the bottom and I'm good to go. That's when I feel it getting loose but not to the point of loosing contact between the blade and the pins. But I'm fastening mine pretty tight and precisely. Luke's saber is probably one of the more intricate sabers to work with but it's also one of the most iconic. As far as the plug goes yea, it sticks out for me too hahahaha. Thanks for watching! Getting the blade in wasn't the easiest but not super difficult either. I'm going to make a video today to cover how to fasten the blade in 👍🏼 you gotta be precise when putting in, one hand on the mid part of the blade pushing down while slightly to ensure it's all the way in while your other hand is tightening the screws. If you set the blade wrong and it's slightly tilted it can loosen easily. Don't be afraid to tighten it though! The blade can take it! Be sure to subscribe so you'll know when it goes live! Hey There Jared! Thanks for watching! I would be more than happy to make a video showing how to do so! Give me a day or so. With this saber its a little but tricky. You need to make sure that you are pushing down on the blade (not too hard) while simultaneously tightening the 4 bottom screws. Make sure that it is straight and tighten the screws to the point where they are truly tight. Continue to hold it in place then Slide down the top of the emitter, tighten it and then tighten that 5th screw. Hope this helps in the meantime!

@@BokunoKaiGuy Hey man, thanks for the explanation! That's actually what I did initially but I couldn't slide down the emitter part. It's way too tight against the blade and won't go down any further past the tip of it? I feel like I will scratch it or it will get stuck. Also, how do you know when the battery is done charging? Does the charger turn green? Right now I'm seeing it's red.

Hey Jared, Yea if the emitter is too tight when you are screwing on, odds are one of your bottom 4 screws is sticking out too much which is stopping the emitter from threading on. Try and evenly distribute the pressure each screw has and tighten accordingly. Reageding your battery it will turn green once it's done charging

Teej thank you so much for the support man! I'm so glad you appreciated the little acapella thing I did. Had to put my little sauce on it lol. I Intend re-recording it more flair but i did it really quick for 20 minutes at midnight when the fam was asleep. Don't get me wrong, the Galaxy's edge sabers are a great starting point for replica Lightsabers. However once you have felt the quality of Theory Sabers and the responsiveness of the blade, its hard to even compare the two. The cool thing is that you can actually beat these things up! So you can dual with them. I don't really plan on doing that with mine but the blade can really take a beating. I was filming for an hour with one charge of the battery and there were now power issues. I've played with it for about another hour after that and the battery is still going strong.

Thank you for watching! I was thinking about getting that saber as well but there are so may to choose from! Yea, I kinda stumbled upon those "Hidden Voice Tracks" accidentally. Most of the fonts have some kind of sound but only 3 of them have actual voice lines (vader, obi and morgan elsbeth). I'll film a video showcasing everything in detail along with some Japan Videos in the near future!
