    This is extremely wasteful. Why not build something that removes the plate and replaces it with another plate instead.

    on the one hand, it looks convenient, but in practice there is more transfer of expensive resin and time for extra layers. There is NO sense in this construction

      @elongated_muskrat_is_my_name 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      resin and machine time might not be that expensive compared to operator time. still there must be a better way of doing this. transferable bases or something. or some kind of clever tree supports

    • @Mr_Joostik
      @Mr_Joostik 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@elongated_muskrat_is_my_name use magnetic tables, remove one, install the second and immediately print. 1 was cleaned and replaced again. And excess resins are consumed faster and less. The resin that was spent on extra supports would have been enough for 1 or 2 such parts.

      @drumperson10 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I would think this is more for "lights out" printing. Yeah its wasteful from the resin point of view but maybe not from a down time point of view. CNC machining cannels talk about this, yeah its not very optimized but its reliable and im in the bed getting a good nights sleep while its running.

    I have been using 3MF and seriously considering STEP format as from what I see and understand, rounded surfaces are cleaner when printed. Sadly I find less people are downloading my files when they are on that format compared to STL. I find different and sometimes conflicting informations about those file formats. Some stating malicious G code can be inserted in 3MF. So I’m really having a hard time finding the right information in clarifying it so explain the why of the benefits of 3MF and STEP aside from the file sizes and quality advantages. Is it true of those malicious codes can be inserted of is it a myth. I design 3D terrain for tabletop gaming, self taught, so I don’t have the benefit of proper education on the technical file format technical aspect.

    I've got both the Adidas 4DFWD Pulse 2 and the 4DFWD 2...both are amazing shoes. The sole on the 4DFWD 2 is entirely this lattice material and it's truly super comfy stuff. Of the 25 pairs of Adidas I own, the Ultraboost 22, Parley/Ultraboost 21's the Stella McCartney Solarglides, DNA 19.5 Boosts and the adidas x Marimekko Ultraboost are probably neck and neck or just slightly better in cushioning but NOT in shock absorption. The 4dFWD eats it right up. It'll let you stabilize at any pace, smooth your transitions and help protect you from shin splints and injuries. If you're buying them for lifestyle, okay, you got cool shoes, but to an athlete, these are the meta for road runners, recovery runs, training sessions, etc. I rock mine probably 3 out of the 5 runs I do weekly. There is no hype to be had. #TeamAdidas

    I have use DLS printing of parts during development of my product. As a company we would like to roll this technology out to our manufacturng, which is not high volumes. However, as a UK OEM, we have to ensure ALL materials used within our products are RoHS3 compliant. Are DLS printed materials RoHS compliant? This has always been a challenge with SLS and SLA. We have to hold proove of compliance from material vendors.

    We don't have this printer where I work at, but we have an M3 printer from carbonandits amazing. The dental company I work at is the first to own one. Never seen this model of a printer before. But dear lord to I belive it will take up so much space where I'm at and take some time. It's a small company so obviously we don't have this beast.

  • @Roskellan
    @Roskellan 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Why - large models, different colours, different materials, complexity, moving parts, post processes, access, reuse of a part within a model, differing settings for different parts, increased protection action printing failures, printing on multiple machines, parts made to fit in final assembly, repair.

    Hello, guys! Thank you for this incredible advance in dentistry!!! Oral health care is very important and I believe that this subject should always be a priority in research and future developments. Your work is wonderful and extremely necessary! What matters isn't only the beauty of the smile, but also the functionality of the teeth for the chewing and oral health, since digestion starts in the mouth, therefore, teeth are essential. Thank you for developing new treatments and also making them cheaper for the population.
