He had the full green and the green arrow. The other driver had no right to pull out on a red light unless the way was clear. Yes, in Texas, you are legally allowed to turn right at a red light after coming to a complete stop, as long as there's no sign prohibiting such a maneuver. Before you turn right at a red light, stop before entering the crosswalk, and yield the right of way to pedestrians and oncoming traffic.
Well most states you have to pull into the closest lane to you and only cross lanes when it is safe to do so. I mean anyone with more than one braincell wouldn’t ram into the oncoming vehicle even with a green light.
Instead of being a red-hot freak about it, just slow down and stay in the left lane! I mean damned, talk about an agressive driver. Unless you are a patrol officer don't zoom after people just because you might have seen a "gotcha" type of move by another driver. We all have been there and made a mistake before. Let it go.
This wasnt even worth posting. There was no accident. You crossed lanes. Now, yes, if I was the car i would have waited because Im a defensive driver and assume the other person would be reckless and merge across the lane. But neither of you were speeding and nothing happened. Did you post this just to get people like me to comment?
It depends on the state and city. Some cities (like the one I live in), it is the law for you to pull into the lane closest to you, and you can change lanes after 100 feet. The law explicitly states both cars can make their turn at the same time, because each car is legally supposed to pull into the lane closest to them. If the cammer had hit the other car, at least where I live, the cammer would be 100% at fault. Because we get a lot of transplants from California and Texas, this kind of accident happens from time to time, and the people from Texas and California get very angry when they are found at fault. It's important to know the traffic laws for where you are. They may be different from where you're from. It would be helpful to know where this happened.
Texas, which allows crossing multiple lanes if safe to do. In this case cammer has a green light AND a green turn arrow, which means all other lights are red.
@@oldator60If this happened in Texas, then yes, the other car is at fault. If it happened somewhere like where I live, the cammer is at fault. Even with a green arrow. As long as the other car came to a full stop (which I realize the other car doesn't, but I also can't clearly see the green arrow for the cammer either), it can make the turn. A green arrow (where I live) doesn't mean the cammer can turn into either lane.
In CA the other car would probably be at fault if if there was a collision 0:31 . You’re not required to land in the closest lane when making a left, unless you’re making the left from one of multiple left turn lanes. However, the state driver handbook recommends landing in the closest lane to “reduce the chance of a collision. In this video, the cammer was make a protected left on a green arrow. The other car was turning right on a red, meaning he had to come to a full stop and proceed only after yielding to other traffic.
This was posted on NextDoor Carolyn B. Profile photo Carolyn B. • Starwood•16h Harry Profile photo Right on red is allowed in Texas as long as there isn't a sign prohibiting it at the intersection. The driver must yield first after a complete stop. However, there is no evidence in the video the person had a red light. The only thing that this shows is the driver didn't yield well and the driver with the camera didn't operate his/her vehicle properly by making an inproper lane change in an interesection and made an improper entrance to the outside lane during a turn. The police and insurance companies would love this video. And if ether person gets in an accident, this video is great evidence of improper actions of the above.
Well at a green light usually cars making a left have to yeld to oncoming vehicles on the other side going through the green light. This includes cars making a right turn
They were both in the wrong. The person driving (with the camera) should have pulled into the left side of the lanes when they turned, as is the rule when turning like that. While the person turning right should of waited because they DID have a red light. At the same time though, the right turn driver didn't even try stopping... thusly making them more in the wrong then the driver of the camera.

Hi Harry Fulkerson, is it ok if I use this clip "afull clip wreck " on my channel? with credit (name on screen). Can you explain what happened ?update?location?
Well you did let every single pedestrian go. If you're driving, and there is an intersection where 6 cars are trying to turn right, onto the street you're on. Sure, it's polite to let someone go, maybe even 2 people.... But it's rude to stop the flow of traffic because you're trying to be nice by letting all 6 cars go...(Just an example) Everybody has to wait their turn, and that includes pedestrians. No offense, but you seem like the type of person to wait at a broken red light to turn green; even if that means waiting many hours. And that Blue car wasn't the only person who went around you either, because that white car went around to look for more spaces Also, having worked at a location like that, I can testify that people will pull over to the far right for mobile orders, large items, or for a moment to put on their GPS, or pick up an elderly family member, and considering you're almost all the way to the right, going less than 5 mph, for longer than 60 seconds.... I also would've gone around, but, that being said, I think that Blue car was going a little bit too fast to go around you safely in the parking lot. So it's not like your upload is null and void, that guy was impatient I think it's just important to see it from his perspective, even if he didn't execute his solution to his frustration properly, his frustration was real, and we are only Human
To start the process you need to make sure all updates are applied, and using Timeshift, create a snapshot of your system in case anything goes wrong. Open a terminal and type: sudo apt install mintupgrade . Enter, input your root password, enter and process will start. When this portion finishes, type in terminal: sudo mintupgrade enter and follow prompts. Length of time depends on your computer's specs, and your internet connection.
