i guess these people have no clue that once the water temp drops below about 45 degrees, every single one of those shad is going to be dead. And by looking at the ones swimming around red nosed, and on their sides, most if not all were going to die within hours of this anyway. They were trapped in an area with no deep water to get away from the cold temperatures. Happens every year, in colder climates. it's called a winter shad kill.

Try standing the bar vertically on a level piece of glass, or mirror. And if you have a 90degree set square, it will show if the two rails are a few degrees out..
