Wonderful memories ❤️. I had the pleasure (?!) Of flying the "tin rat" from '90-'96. I still remember base training at Shannon on G-BKYH. We used to joke that the JT-8D engines were "constant thrust, variable noise"! 😆 The aircraft was fun to fly manually and really kept you on your toes. It was like a sports car in the air. We very rarely needed reverse thrust on landing - just deploying the reverser buckets was like popping a braking chute! Happy days 😊
