Bachmann announced these new 'Tin Car' coaches at Ffestiniog Bygones weekend available from the Ffestiniog Railway shop. As soon as I heard I had to get some!

I had to get some too. I was lucky enough to get them from the railway at the time, but I couldn’t choose, so I’ve got both liveries!

DCC HAS TURNED THE ART OF "MODEL RAILWAYS" INTO "TOY TRAIN SETS" !!! Sad ! Pretty little layouts with little comprehension of real life "Operation". Certainly no comprehension of Signalling, or the complex rules of marshalling & running freight trains !!! Indeed how many layout owners/Clubs today, even understand when buffers should be retracted or extended, or the vagaries of different types of Corridor connection incompatibility ? But then even British Outline manufacturers get these things totally wrong !
I went on Saturday and only discovered this evening, reading the program, that there was a third hall with finescale layouts and associations in. Completely missed that. I see you didn't, at least I got to see some of the layouts on here!
Hi, that's a shame, they were nice layouts. My video doesn't really do them justince. At least you'll get a flavour of them from it.

Hi, glad you liked the video. My control is via DCC-EX running on an Arduino connected to an old laptop running JMRI, and running Engine Driver on an old Fire 7 which is what you see in the video.
