Hey man great video. I Have problem with my webasto thermo top evo passat b8 2016. First my Old water pump broke so i change it Webasto started working, but after about 20 minutes, when I turned it off, the error "heating time exceeded" was entered: 0386 vcds. Can you help me with this ?

I have a webasto in a ML w164 2009. It starts and works for about 2-3 minutes. I can hear the fan going and the exhaust warms up but then the heater just stops working. What should i do with it?

Nice to see how it all fits together. I have to do something with mine. It doesnt start. Pump is sounding and after a while i get the Fa9 error on the control display. I dont get any hits when googling it. If i start the car and then the webasto (evo 5 i think) it most often start and keeps running after i turn off the engine. But when i turn off the heater i get the Fa9-error again. Sometimes inget "Te4". The problems re more noticible when below -10c.

I have an webasto Thermo Top V on an VW Tiguan and he workt fine , but in one morning started to give a lot of white smoke ( smeling of diesel ) but a lot of smoke and its start to drip diesel on its exhaust

Webasto TT-V, at least in Volvos, have a nasty property to stop working after its burning time has exceeded 800h. It just stops heating although it has all its components in pristine condition. Like a modern printer which gives up after having printed programmed # of pages :) Quite laborious to get an 800hour TT-V back to life, it is possible but not that easy, therefore a film on this would be nice to have...

My Thermo Top V stopped working in my Volvo V70 too. Fault code says glow plug fault and I'm going to try and change it when I get a new one. Is there any way of contacting you for tips when I fail with my experiments? :D

Very informative video, thanks for that. Question for you. I get the fault code that circulation pump is shorted. I've changed the pump but the problem is still there. From what I've understood the ECU might be damaged then, shame it seems impossible to find a replacement ECU. A Hungarian company called NorX sells aftermarket ECU's for these but they are just a single board not the two boards in a 90° configuration. I'm guessing that wouldn't help my problem.

Very Nice. Have The same engine which been sleeping for last 5 years... I'll try to get it work this summer i think. But i got a Yamaha 12hp 2 stroke from The 80s whos working like I beast.. Just buys The most expensive gas for 2 stroke and it kicks on 5... Maybe he deservers a service in the fall 😅

Hey i have bought F5BM for my dingy kinda "new" but was standing stille for 10 Years after old owner bought it , not even breaked in:). but problem i have is whit carborator pissing random out of the topp, i clean carborator , change 0-ring on air/fule mixs screw and lubes up the rubber prop for main jet, the flaut work if i blow in it and turn it then close so very wired :(. I even try make this plastic circel on to but didnt work,my carb had not this plastic circel on topp, 2013 ca model. still pissing out gass from top random, may work fine for long and then random spit out gas kinda dangorus can be fire bomb :(. but now i know it so i checking on it. i wounder if i have faulty carborator from factory. i saw it was no smal o-ring in side carb on flout neddel maybe that problem, othere brand have that ;).If i cant firgere it out i will not buy new parsun carborator but an diffrent brand like yamaha or from a moped 26 mm i stock so if i put on 30mm+ i get tuned parsun

1.4 petrol is faster than 1.4 diesel .. tried it... That low end torque is deceiving... Also that diesel is to loud. One mith buster also 1.4 petrol is thirsty engine... Fuel consumption is much higher than on diesel
