The more I think about it, people probably want the figure because of it's a piece of SHFiguarts Dragon Ball history. I literally cannot think of any other non-event exclusive figure in the line that has been as coveted as Broly. Maybe the OG Goku Black or 2.0 Vegito? I also think there are a lot more die-hard Z Broly fans than there are Super Broly fans and that probably ties into nostalgia. Now I agree 100% he needs a brand new sculpt with an updated waist wrap. The hard plastic hasn't aged well when it comes to articulation. As for my choice in Turles, you're right regarding his price point. He's still readily available. I think that was based on bias for the movie villains over other characters like the Ginyu Force. But any of those web exclusives are worthier of a spot than Turles.

@@bigbaddwolf90 I’ve heard good things about the mini Goku as well, just waiting for my preorder to come in! As for the show, it’s scratching that nostalgia itch for sure.

It's the only Z Broly mold in the line and it would definitely help bring the price down for the non-exclusive version. He's a bit outrageous. But despite being 10 years old, he doesn't pose that bad. I'm sure he still makes it on a lot of people's most wanted or favorite in the line.

I mean I would Rather a Remold of Broly but I wouldn't complain for the Release.

I wouldn't say the vote is entirely wasted. Like you said, Tamashii knows the demand is there and they're not blind to what the third party is doing (at least I hope not). The BD prototypes do look promising for sure, and competition breeds innovation. If Broly wins, Tamashii would be wise to capitalize on it and squeeze in that base form or suppressed Super Saiyan Broly on us. Or just release that version anyways lol I really think these campaign will help decide what's next for future releases.

For real- the prices for those are insane.

@@teagor9505 I believe a saw the same video you’re talking about. In my review that I did for Z Broly, I argued that he helped pave the way for the 2.0 body, i.e. sleeker arm designs, knees that flow more naturally when articulating and the midsection of his torso being articulated. Sure, he uses the same dropdown hip joints as the 1.0s, but I feel his design at least started moving the rest of the line in the right direction. That said, does he look dated compared to other figures like Full Power Broly? Oh yeah. But I think he still holds up for what he is. I preordered all three Fenrir figures Beast Deities is planning to release and I’m hyped for them, I just hope and pray the quality is there for being in development as long as they have. I want folks to have a solid alternative and hope that’s what it is. If anything, hopefully it makes Tamashii reconsider revisiting Z Broly to where they give us something truly unique to one-up BD. Also, all of those are excellent choices!

@Teh1337Reviews Exactly, I want Tamashii broly to get decent votes to show interest, but not win. That way they might actually revisit the design and update the last few aspects.

Problem with Fenrir is whoever missed out on the pre orders who knows how long the wait is for full batch to buy from def hope I can get it

Ehh idk homie, I mean Yee I agree that Z Broly definitely looks a bit dated but he’s nowhere near as bad as any of the other 1.0s, like personally I think he’s a great looking figure & tbh he’s still one of my favorites in my collection, but I do think the og Z Broly is by far the most dated/weakest looking Broly out of the 3 tho, like I think the 2 event exclusives Z Brolys look & hold up way better so it’s a shame they’re not on the list too, but I know that all comes down to personal preference so I think he’s still a solid choice for people who wanna add a z Broly to their collection, ya know, & yee the beast deity’s Broly does look hella badass too, so I’m looking forward to see how they look in hand once they come out, cuz I might end up having to cop one too lol

I don't understand why people are still saying they voted for general releases on the poll. Those can get re-released without the NEED of a special re-release poll. Unlike the Pbandai releases listed which this is the one and only shot at getting straight up re-released.
