Why'd you decide to build one from scratch?
A couple reasons. First, we needed to prepare the land before building anything. We had a sandbox close to the area we built the batting cage. Second, we wanted a few additional features that a prebuilt frame would not allow. For example, when not in use, we will be able to move the net out of the way to work other parts of the game. Third, we are planning on adding shade to the top to help with the AZ heat. The ability to add shade to the top was the main reason.
