Sick box! This purple looks awesome, debating on a red one. What worktop is that? Looks like that bed liner one but it’s smooth. Did you get it like that or did you add something to smooth it out?
Very nice set up! 👌🏻 They only did red when I started but I’d go for this if I had my time again. (Retired now) That 84” with locker & hutch seems like the ideal combination to me.
Definitely doing the trick! Thank you
Hey nice color can write down we're did you get that snap on mini computer ,from and programs from?
What’s the model/part number for the 1/4“ ratchet with bit holder ?
I believe the one you’re talking about is the TXM72
@@Kudapex Thanks for replying. Yup. That's the one. BTW we need more videos.
What’s the part number to that flip 8-10 socket??? Need it!
S6810 😊
@@Kudapex 💯💯💯
I found this video by pure chance, and boy am I glad I did. I'm a 3rd year apprentice BMW tech and the moment I heard you say "mostly BMW" and seeing that ICOM, I was hooked! Could you at all do a video review or a list of all the special and handy tools you own and/or recommend for Beemers. BMW branded and other brands of course, that would be sick and unbelievably helpful for me bro. Either way, keep up the good work. Keen to reach your level one day.
I’ll definitely do that! You chose a good brand to work on.
Those water pump style adjustable pliers are from IPS, a Japenese company. They make a few soft grip pliers like that. Another handy set is thier combination pliers. They also make some really nice extra long adjustable needles, straight & 45°. Very high quality, yet extremely affordable brand. Check out Fujiya & Tsunoda for quality Japenese pliers as well. Nice, clean set-up man, thanks for the tour!
Thanks for the recommendation!
Beautiful set mate, better than looking at porn. Top man
Appreciate the praise sir!
Who makes the fuel pump lock ring tools? The pliers are IPS soft-touch water pump wh-250s.
I’ll have to double check. They actually came with an aftermarket performance pump I had to install on a customers car.
Waste of money. Could’ve had a dream car + Milwaukee or Icon box 😢
Good thing I have my dream car. And I prefer having a high quality box.
Honestly bro a lame snap on fan boy head ah
Real mature comment here.
All that snap on destined to end up at an estate sale in the future.
Someone will get a great deal 😂
When he said the Snap-on lighting was worth the money I knew he loved the brand Because the HF light is the same thing and it's $90 compared to Snap-on's $500 😂😂
While it looks the same, I don’t know if it’s the same quality. I also live in Canada so I’m not really interested in driving across the border for warranty.
Is that monitor all in one? If not what do you use to get windows on it?
I have a PC in the locker 😊
Is that monitor all in one? If not what do you use to get windows on it?
I have a pc in the locker
Having worked in 2 BMW/Euro shops I can safely say all this is all 100% necessary.
I’ve watched this video about 20 times now. This is hands down my favorite tool box set up out of everyone on TH-cam
Haha I really appreciate that! I’ll be posting an updated tour soon :). Just getting the box moved to a new shop!
I would hate to know how much everything cost you, a lot of people can't afford Snap-On so they go for some lesser brands but I would love a set of Snap-On sockets at least. If I wrenched every day for a job I would most likely be in debt with Snap-On. Thanks for sharing, this tool box was freaking great!! I am currently in a 5 draw tool cart right now but looking to upgrade to a full size tool box at some point in my life.
Thank you! It’s taken me about 10 years to build up to this so take your time!
sorry not sure why YT is feeding me this video but for someone who has no idea of the cost, what does a complete setup like this cost?
I guess the algorithm thought you’d like it haha. I’d say approximately $120,000 CAD ($88,000 USD)
Just got mine ordered but with two lockers. $43k plus tax 😢
Ooof! I’d love to order a second locker so call me jealous. I ended up paying about $18K USD for mine.
@@Kudapex now I’m jealous lol
Bmw makes me want to off myself.
Favorite part 3:21
Tongue twisted 😂
Can you share the link to buy the monitor mount you have?
Here you go! shop.snapon.com/product/Workcenter-Accessories/Monitor-Mounting-Bracket/KATVBRKT
Awesome video, man! Its cool to see how other techs have their stuff laid out. Ive got the same box as you in white with teal trim and a slide split top roll cart, both are full. Just ordered a locker for my 84, so hopefully i can clear up some space. You can definitely take up room working on trash trucks like i do lol.
Everyone got one of those doors 😂😂. No need arguing that's true. Do not deny if you r a mechanic 😂😂
What mat do you have on the work surface
Just the Bedliner top
10:15 I have the 5’ long pry bar. I call it Sweaty Betty
id love one of these, so when my moms bf uses my tools he can just leave the entire tool box in the rain instead of a few tools :D
What are those red magnets you used in the locker for the cans?
It’s one of these but I cut the 4 section apart and put them in the bottom of the can holders: shop.snapon.com/product/Flexible-Magnetic-Tool-Storage-Accessories/Flexible-Magnetic-Mat-(Red)/FLEXMAT
Awesome setup mate That’s my dream box in the exact colour I’d choose Unfortunately being a mobile mechanic with only a very small garage at home that thing would take up too much room And most of my tools are in my truck box
Tell me about it! I had it in my home garage when I was switching shops and it’s way too big.
I’m sure it feels great to look at that thing every day, what a beauty!
Snap on thx u for the +50k
That box is sweet !!!
I call it Jesus he said 😂 A+ setup for us Bavarian boys. All boxes checked. Hazel 17mm lug socket for wheels, lisle lug pilots and koken nut huggers for battery installs would be my only add ons.
Those are certainly on the wish list. I did end up getting the magnetic sockets from snap on but the Kokens would have been a better choice.
Is it worth getting over the Autel tho….??!
Really hard to say. My shop has an Autel Ultra but I still use my Zeus 99% of the time. Does everything I need for the most part. If I need more, I grab my ICOM because we specialize in BMW.
$600 a week for the rest of your life, holy sh1&.
This is the only toolbox tour I have seen that is up to my ridiculously high standards. Good on you bro. Very similar to mine but mines storm gray and black.
That color combo was my second choice. Definitely looks good.
You should show us the cars you are working on, judging by the reflection it looks like a older 6 series
At the time yeah one E24 6 Series and an E30 M3 :)
On the locker light what you end up doing I just got mine for my locker it’s the same bs. There only one light option for the locker ? Magnet has to be on the switch to be on. lol Beautiful box btw mine is the same except black with gloss black trim
Snap on customer service sent me out the correct one for no charge. Just contact them :)
This is what not having a girlfriend, a life, and racked up in tool debt with a good paying job looks like 😂sad thing is, I'd still be totally fine with all of this.
The no girlfriend/wife part is key 😂
I totally agree 😂
real question is how much do you owe the snap on man.
Approximately $2K Canadian. I still owe a quite a bit on the box but I used the bank instead of Snap-ons insane interest financing.
Who can afford all this honestly??
Keep in mind this has taken 10 years to collect.
@Kudapex holey moley dude. I am totally jealous.
Ha. Talking about saving money on the borescope and then shows us an overpriced Snap On multimeter instead of a Fluke. 🤦🏼♂️
Fluke is the best brand for sure
Paid less for it than a Fluke.
@Kudapex, Do you happen to have a part number or anything for that wireless charging flashlight? I'm interested in maybe getting one.
ECFLPRA350 :)
100K IN TOOLS LOL
Maybe more holy moley
Damn. Deep pockets congrats bro. Keep up the good work. Over $200k for all of that
im convinced that the box tour guys dont actually work on cars
Yeah it would make a lot of sense to waste a bunch of money to let tools sit in a drawer.
Bruh, buy a house lol
That socket drawer is heaven lol, noticed some missing ones but fucking amazing
Its changed a bit over the last few months. Maybe I’ll do an updated tour at some point.
Wow this is great, what do you use to clean your tools and the box ??
Wypall Cleaning Wipes for the tools and Adam’s CS3 to clean the box
