One guy is eating! Wow!! When great importance is given to the student union and they had problems with really ignorable details of Rashmi's post..how do you manage to conduct a debate for electing your president in such a lousy manner? Dressed casually and sitting with a horrible camera angle and lighting that shows you don't give a damn. Everyone's like that except for Rashmi and they lost a chance to have a wonderful leadership and some real change in the campus. Such fools!

There's such a muddled approach to the line between freedom of expression and cancel culture. I want to know, who the gatekeepers of what is ostensibly morally sound or acceptable as positions to expound are. You're better - and of course this is just my opinion - letting everyone express their views, no matter how repugnant to you personally. If for no other reason (and one can argue there are many) individuals should have the freedom of movement to state in public anything they subscribe to ideologically because if you take a totalitarian position on censorship, all you do is drive them to actions instead of speech. We have legal precedents for what cannot be said in the public sphere, and those are sufficient to deal with advocating violence or making threats of violence generally speaking. These laws have expanded to include the restriction of opinions seemingly hateful. But would you rather a person take to a soapbox and make socially ugly arguments about certain people, or plot their destruction in a basement somewhere with the few individuals who already agree with them in anger out of not having a voice?

@Award winning journal, Oxford Blue, what are your honest views on Rashmi Samant stepping down from the Oxford student union Presidential elections?....Why is there no statement from you?

Everyone should be happy on their allotted land and the coming generations will also live peacefully and happily. The suggestion is simple, Christians in the world population 30 +% Islam 20 +%, ancient religions 15 +%, atheists? 15 +%, other religions 20%, in this ratio 100% of the world's land has to be divided.
