Dude today i went snorkeling at windmill beach (www.google.co.za/maps/@-34.2006739,18.4567446,100m/data=!3m1!1e3) and let me tell you it was AMAZING, a saw all the creatures you saw aswell
Not safe from the wind, but should be safe from sharks if you stay close to the kelp. I've never heard of a sighting there other than inside the Simon's town harbor.
What’s the shark situation here? I’m visiting Simons Town in a few weeks and hoping to do some snorkelling/free diving...is it safe? What other dangers should I watch out for? Thanks!
Its at Seaforth beach just after Simon's town harbor and before Bolder's beach. Head out about 180m to the rocks at the end of the kelp line. quite shallow, i'm guessing 6m-8m max. The red roman are by the rocks slightly to the right if you are facing the ocean.
What a chop
This is perfect
