Crisscrossing the Southwestern part of Uganda to Uganda's border with the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) was an interesting journey that led us through the rolling hills of Southwestern Uganda. We were pleasantly surprised as we were rewarded with jaw dropping views of the countryside.

Setting off on such a fierce walking trail in rural Leicestershire from Burrough Hill Country Park was amazing and challenging fun. The trail was muddy, wet and full of water puddles which made it more pleasurable. The surrounding countryside was a treat for the eyes and a breath of fresh air.

Kisoro is amazingly beautiful, there is minimal pollution and the pace of life is just right. The icing on the cake is the natural environment, I hope it would be preserved

The land is owned by individuals, no single person owns the island
Everything grows in Uganda!
It’s a fascinating country, most people especially in the villages or countryside own a piece of land or rent or borrow where they grow food. Some kind of subsistence farming going on. Many thanks for watching.
