I really enjoy the podcast and definitely this episode. I know award discussions can be hard but it is very much appreciated. I do think LeRon has a point about not wanting the same bad guy to keep appearing over and over. However, I think Sephiroth's case is different. This is not rhe same Sephiroth we saw in 1997. His portrayal, the actions he takes, his goals, and his motivations are different this time. Also, I think it is clear why FF7R trilogy could not be one game. So taking points away because he was in Rebirth seems unfair. Additionally, Sephiroth's relationship with Cloud is different than in Remake and there is a narrative reason for it. Last thing: Concord was a good game. It played very well and had some good ideas. Its commercial failure has less to do with it being good or bad and more to do with players wanting to send a message to Sony, poor marketing, and a bit of people lack of desire to try a new shooter.

I remember that in an interview with Takumi Shu in the strategy guide for Ace Attorney 3 released in Japan, there was a passage that suggested that Famicom Detective Club was an influence on the idea for Ace Attorney. Similar to the dialogue between Mia Fey and Godot in Ace Attorney 3, Famicom Detective Club is a game where players can only fully grasp the subtle actions and lines of each character after completing it once and understanding the full picture before playing it again. However, most players only play such games once-they consume them and move on. This is especially true for game reviewers who have to play a lot of games. It's inevitable that many people only play it once, but it's unfortunate that a work is evaluated when only about half of it is truly understood.

SteamDeck hands down one of the best things I bought in years. It runs a large number of games, while not every new title, sometimes it will surprise you like DragonsAge. What it doesn't run, I stream from my gaming PC to my steam deck. Handheld, or docked upstairs it's great. The hardware in the ROG is better, but windows just hasn't figured out a compact mobile interface yet, Steam OS is just great without messing around with.

Kinda wish Pow Block was a 4 man crew like the main show, or three. whichever. My favorite reoccurring people are Andre, Stephanie, and Austin. I want them to all be on all the time. Kinda miss when the effort to make Pow Block the premiere show as made more serious.

Stephanie is a breath of fresh air on this show. She's my favorite host on Boss Rush, she's so fun and so happy.

Stephanie adds so much to Pow Block. It's nice to have that voice come through. It's also nice to not hear Cory be mad at Ed for some reason, even if its a bit.

We need more Stephanie on this podcast. She's so fun, she adds so much to the show, and she's clearly a Nintendo girl at heart. Give us more Stephanie!

I am really enjoying Echoes of Wisdom. It's exactly what I needed right now. I do agree that that Bed is super overpowered but the water echo you get later is all you'll ever need later in the game. Another great episode as always.

It was 100% garbage until ghost.

It sure was a waste of time for me to play as much Returnal I did.

Hope you all can talk Echoes of Wisdom on the next episode. I am eager to see what a modern 2D Zelda is like before I jump in and buy it. Also looking into getting something else portable due to my job being on the road a lot of the time.

First off, Stephanie, those glasses are HOT. Second, I was not as hot on Ghost of Tsushima as everyone else seems to be. I think that game benefited from the Sony bump for sure. It was still great, but it definitely doesn't hold a candle to The Last of Us or God of War. In a world with S-A-B-C-D-E-F Tiers, I think it is definitely B-tier.

I am so excited that you all started doing premieres on TH-cam. I am a Patron at the $1 tier, but it always is fun to see everyone's faces and reactions. Ghost of Tomei looks great. I love the first game and I think with Sucker Punch's track record, the sequel will be even better.
