When tapping into a fuse box. How do I know if I have the correct amperage for that tap fuse?
On top of the fuse you have a number, that number is the maximum amperage the fuse can hold. Example: electric fan has a draw of 20 amps, I would need a fuse OVER 20 amps… use a 25 amp fuse.
what if I have several accessories to tap but only have 1 cigar fuse? what is my other fuse option?
You should have plenty of other fuses to tape into, the cigar fuse is not the only fuse on a car. How many accessories are you looking to connect?
