Brilliant the skill in setting out every part of this job before laying one porcelain slab is mind-blowing.
awesome job!!!!
Not bad mitre cuts on ya copings. It looks better gaps in alleyway not the same gully in the middle of a flag..sorry to ne so particular
Nice job :)
Looks mint! Where did you get them tiles from and what mix you use looked a nice mix that
Where you based fella?
West midlands
Absolute cracking job. Beautifully done and the lines are spot on. Only wish I could do this... LOL!
What kind of grout?
What did you use for priming the undersides of the stone?
slury mix
Slury mix.
Wow! That place was a disaster before!
how long it will last for?
What’s the black sealer stuff you use? Does it give it a wet look shiny finish and where did you get it from please?
Is not sealer, porcelain tiles dont needed . Its grout. Flow point
Can I presume that you just slabbed over the rodding eye....
That little slither on the end as well mate, let it’s all down
You done it again, after digging out for the retaining wall you couldn’t work out the finished face on the wall to be 3.0m plus 6 x spacer gaps so it works full slabs? Is there a reason you do it this way? Because everything else looks spot on just a little more thought would save loads of cuts, loads of work and look 100%
You’ve got cuts on two sides of it surely you could of avoided both sets of cuts with a little planning from the front, Your work looks spot on till that point and I just wonder to bother of
A lot of great work and by your self as well fair play, Does the line of cut slabs against the house not wind you up? You could of set it out so it worked full slabs, it’s only a couple of 100mm one way or the other?
Gorgeous
Lovely job👍🏻👍🏻
Quality workmanship 🎉
Not even 50mm of base this patio will last 1 winter then be a total disaster
Stupid cloun😂😂
Shut up karen
Impressive results. Why is the multiple mixes of the base mortar better than pouring a concrete slab?
to level and set each slab individually and drying time of primer and cement, there can be multiple problems with pouring a massive pad unless drylaying , 1 once the cement mix is down its a race to lay all tiles, level can be off- you will need to walk in the cement....
Could you tell me where you got the slabs from and what they cost per meter please
Codsal stoune and paving. 36-44£ per sq.m
Do you cover West Sussex .
No
Very impressive 👍
Amazing , art what I call it , wish I could do mine like that
Absolute grafter and top notch workmanship 🎉
Do you mortar-in the block edging? I know that normally block paving shouldn’t be mortar installed, but maybe it’s different when being used as edging.
Monster of a job, end result was top work, just needs some lighting on the walls
Oh dear !
What did you use to stick the tiles to the wall? I have a small raised patio with flag on edge showing around the sides that I would like to stick porcelain to.
External tile adhesive for porcelain
@@stanislavdidenko1811Did you do any prep work on the concrete block work before applying the wall tiles, such as using a specific primer?
@@theweltmeister69 judt in case, you can apply primer. And use external tile adhesive for porcelain.
Hi what edging stones are you using? Thanks!
Amazing amount off work done by one greedy guy!! Thinks off no man but himself!!
Beautiful again x
😊 do you want my home address You can do my back garden. Absolutely beautiful work
Can you tell how much cost something like that please

What part of england you are working ? How much this cost per m2 ? with ground work , and retaining wall 3.5x 5m
West midlands
I hope you don't get cracks. I would have layed a slab with mesh and let it cure before laying the tile, especially if the joint is narrow. Thats a big area.
Not really the correct amount of sub base but will be ok for foot traffic. Also Tiles should be staggered by thirds not half. Looks good though, nice job.
I'm going to have rectangular tiles soon. Can you tell me the reason why the tiles should be 1/3 and not 1/2 or is it just wh
Although the porcelain tiles are meant to be perfectly flat they actually aren’t! Staggering by thirds is meant to counter any discrepancy and stop water pooling. The other way is to not stagger them at all, laying them in rows. Looks better in thirds. IMO. With 5mm joints.
Lovely job well done
The “after” looks fantastic. That was a fine job. Well done!
A lot of work for one man on his own 👏🏻👏🏻
Another great job
Brilliant work
Thanks
Great work looks really good mate.
Great job! Can i ask what type of porcelain those tiles was?
Hi! Thanks! 900x600mm, 20mm thick porcelain tiles. "Materia grey"
