Product - Air vents for Fiat 500 Abarth 595 stereo upgrade to 9 inch Android Headunit
This is a product over view video that shows the parts I have designed and created to connect the air vents in the Fiat 500 or Abarth 595 2007 to 2015 when upgrading your stereo to an Android 9" mounted to the appropriate facia.

Alex do your vent mods fit all Fiat 500?
@@dueyfish2617 Hi, they will fit all models from 2009 to 2015. If you have the same stereo and air vent combination that I had to start with, then they will fit. The main thing to look for is to make sure that the surround you buy for the new stereo has rounded edges under the vents like mine. If the surround is squared off / flat faced, then my ducts do not fit perfectly as shown. You can cram them in and many have. But it will no look as plush as the finish I have.

Just got mine in the mail and they worked perfectly . I can now feel the ac again . Before they were just exposed openings now they go straight to the sides of the ac . Hopefully they work with the heater . But great product no complaints . Life saver !!!

i don't suppose you have a design for a slightly different head unit? we got my sister a smaller screen where the vents are slightly larger but not having vents or even control over the direction of airflow is a real problem now
@@STRmw2 Hi, I do not currently have any other ducts however I will be working on a set for the 7 inch screen type. This will take some time though, so please don’t expect anything immediately. Now then! THIS is the video I’ve been after- I too noticed that everyone leaves the hot/cold air vent all over the new head unit- not ideal! Question to you is: Do you 3D print this part for sale- or would you be willing to part with the file so I can ask my friend to 3D print it? Name your terms lol! Appreciate the effort you’ve gone to here- looks great! Have you found the standard aerial is sufficient or is it worth an upgrade? The one on ours is already hit and miss on the standard head unit. Thanks

As for the aerial, I had the standard one still fitted. We always use the stereo for apple car play, so have never needed to use the radio. I would recommend buying a good quality microphone and installing it. Standard stereo microphone is useless.

I hear you call it a Teyes, but searching their website they don't seem to offer a Fiat 500 kit, hmm. Find nothing on amazon either.
Hi, you are correct they do not offer a kit for a Fiat 500. I purchased the 500X version and asked them to make me a harness to suit the standard 500 / Abarth. It’s worked out well, but was not straight forward. If I were doing it again, I’d look for a genre single Din version they do. Or purchase the 500Madness (or similar) unit which has everything ready to go. Hope that helps. 😊

Those ducts look great. I live in the US and am wondering if it would be possible to purchase the .stl file so I can print my own? Maybe you can put the file up on Cults or Printables for others to purchase too. It would save you a lot of work manufacturing and shipping them.
