We're New Legend, a low-production, high-quality classic 4x4 shop with a vision for delivering the best IH Scouts, Wagoneers, and Range Rovers money can buy.
When you think about it, today most cars are invisible. Camouflaged in a sea of black, white, and silver metal with nothing to say. Then, there are cars that stand out, start conversations, have a story to tell. The ones that bring back old memories and make new ones.
You can have an adventure and excitement without giving up comfort, safety, and reliability. Craftsmanship and design of the past with the technology and engineering of the future. Every car has a story to tell. What's yours?

beautifully done! ⛰🛻
Dude the editing on this is top notch and the content absolutely awesome bravo!!! 👏👏👏
Fantastic cinematography and editing! Looks like it was shot on film. Good work!
thanks for watching, and the kind words!
fierce
Great…another channel I’m gonna have to binge watch lol.
Loved this. It felt very Bruce Brown or Warren Miller. The cinematography and the audio were fantastic.
thank you for this, means a ton!
Good video, thanks for sharing!
Glad he had that RTT, if he’d invested in a locker he wouldn’t have gotten stuck! 🤷♂️
Great stuff!
So good to see the crew and adventures back!
Some of the best off-road content I have seen in a long time, beautifully edited, I have literally watched this over and over. Keep up the great content.🤙
thank you!! Appreciate the love and support of the dream! We will keep them coming!
🤦♂️🤡🥴
Beautifully crafted video. You all caught the spirit of why we love these Scouts today!
thank you for the kind words!
Sadly VW bought International Harvest and they will be releasing their version of the Scout as an EV in 2026.
EV needs to go! I couldn’t help but think the same thing.
I’ve always been a Toyota fanboy. But the videography skills in this channel have made me a fan of the Scout community. Safe travels!
we appreciate the support!
Toyota is complete garbage
Thank you all for sharing this adventure. Having spent the better part of adulthood in the blackhills, devils tower etc., and owning 4 scouts from 1988 to the 2000's, off-roading with Scouts West and others. I miss having one every day, the joy, the heart ache and tinkering to "what was that noise?" in a deafening crescendo of squeaks, rattles, bangs and "oops, spilled my coffee". To the overall pleasure of it all! I have WONDERFUL memories and plan to make more in another at age 63. Be well, safe travels!
Absolutely friggin awesome showing of families enjoying their beasts, notabronco.
thanks for watching!
I wish i would have known this was going on i would have met you guys! and brought my 1973 Scout ii
I was rebuilding and modifying Scouts for about 20 years. Then one day I sold them all and got into adventure and dual sport motorcycles.
Saw two of these rigs a couple weekends ago heading south on the 14. Beautiful film btw.
Just one complaint. Rooftop tents! Really where’s the army surplus canvas? Just kidding excellent video and an astounding heard of Scouts! Thought I was going to say Bronco didn’t you, but I donuts know the name of a group of bad a vintage metal like those.
Before I got my drivers license my grandpa gave me an old scout very old scout. I don’t remember the year but the driver and passenger seat was a sheet metal bench, seat and back, with cushions sitting on it. He said if I got it driving I could have it. New clutch, fluids, starter, battery distributor and……I got it running. Then he sold it. I’ve wanted one ever since, many decades ago. Love your video!
Love this video!! You should come do an adventure up in norcal sometime. Maybe a usal beach offroad adventure? a tahoe excursion with the IH parts guys would be fun too.
Another awesome video!
i had a 1965 got a 1961 now and 1963 with snow plow go up a tree if ya are brave enough
Oh when was this? wish i would have known...this is in my backyard :(
Matt! It was just a couple weeks back. We will get you on the next one!! Miss you, friend!
Ugh. I wish trucks like this would be left alone and just cared for. 38,000 original miles. What a shame.
What’s the mpg with the 2.5” lift, stock gearing, 32” mud tires, and the 4.8l Vortec?
What trail is this? We'd like to go- well done on the video
IH Scout- everything else is just a car- owner of a 67 and 64 IH Scout 80 and 800
I still regret letting go of my International Scout II 1978. Well, it was not a perfect one. However, it was a very fun vehicle to drive. I live in L.A and I took it to Lake Tahoe few times. I have seen this video like 3 times. Very good conversation
Great channel
That’s a beautiful truck!
You forgot the Swiss Monteverdi Scouts Sierra and Safari from the 70's with the 5,7 l V8 .
What engine is it now?
this is badass. i miss buckskin '75
I love that lift what size?
What is that compound in Ventura? Cool place!
Sean, I am so deeply impressed with your story. I am a business carreer person and have worked for several multi-billion dollar corporations and so often I have read books that advise how to live, survive and thrive in business, and those books all end up going to the salvation army donation box, but your (future) book I would read and and keep. Thanks for expressing your love for the hard work and echoing your faith and trust in the Lord. I'm a 1975 Scout owner and I understand the passion. Thank you!
日本にもほしいなぁ
This just came across my feed and its 3yrs old. But im glad it did!! That is absolutely a beautiful Scout!! I have a 70 Scout 800A series, 3 sp, with a slanted 4 motor. Would love to put a little bigger motor in it but i dont want anything with a computer chip in it. I did convert it to power steering for easier off roading. Mine had 33 12.5 tires on it when i bought it. It now has 35s. Had to cut the fender wells out a little when it had the wide tires on it. Mine does have some rust in the bed and i would love to fix mine up more if i had the extra money to do so. I just never wanted to fix it too nice because then i wouldnt want to off road in it like i do. It still has the drum breaks and i would love to switch to disc. Also the wiper blades quit working on it and when they did work, the faster you would drive, the faster they went swish. If you slowed down, they did too. But i love my old tank and i taught my son how to drive a stick shift in her. Having that slanted 4 tho, she does lug down going up hills on the highway but when you're off roading in 4wd she will crawl right up steep hills and embankments! And she'll pull your butt out of anything! Have pulled several jeeps and even a suburban out of mud with her! I love my Scout!!
What size wheels and tires exactly?
What a shame. Take a low mileage original vehicle an put a belly button motor in it.😢
Wow these videos are the greatest yet!... Thank you so much for this I love it and I love my Scout Traveler!
Wonderful video with Soul! 👏 When people ask me about MPG of my Scout I always say I don't really know But I can say That I get more Smiles per mile than anyone else!
Love this vid!
As much as I can appreciate what you do, and I do!! I thinks its awesome, I think it caters to the white collar crowd. I dont have 15 grand to sink into my Scout for a modern drive train. It's hard for guys like me with a family that wants to take my truck everywhere. It's just way out of my blue collar budget. So many companies making engine swaps and kits for some of these old and awesome vehicles, its just not affordable!! I love what you are doing!!!! Keep up the great work!!!!
Just acquired an international scout Body is so nice v8 auto ..I think auto ..haven't been able to check it out much yet frame looks wrong but it's amazingly rust free floors hold water.. it might even float
Drove a '72 with a 345 from 1989-1992...got it used. No rust but the engine burned oil and the brake drums had been welded onto the wheels which screwed up the front end..If I hadn't been disabled I would have rebuilt the motor.
Just got myself blessed with a v8 scout it is in great shape .. the floors are holding water lol Its complete but the springs and spring mounts have been messed with .. so I'll be trying to restore this truck maybe with some mods like a nice lift mod suspension for maybe crawling .. probably looking for a disk break conversation.. has all drums now .. what front and rears should I be looking for ..
What’s the difference between a scout 80 and 800 ?
