Cool
I’m glad to see someone using jump boots. It’s a huge misconception that jump boots were an airborne specific thing. People from 33rd signal battalion were seen wearing them very commonly. They were used by people running communication wires, climbing, like the rangers on point du hoc. Pretty much anyone in need of extra ankle support.
love your trench man
I have the same canteen as you
I use a WWII training rifle for my weapon when I fool around in my trench
Hey man many things suck Just gotta get on.with life
Sleeping bags rare maybe a blanket was carried!
So cool! Never knew that.
R.I.P soldier.
Wait. Did soldiers have 2 canteens. I thought so because I see in a lot of movies. I think it’s because they needed a lot of water on the field, for drinking, cleaning wounds, helping comrade. Am I right? Or wrong?
@BattleBrother-k1t Army soldiers usually only had one unless you were a medic. But marines usually had two
@@averymoser8606 ah makes sense. Great info. Thx :)
@BattleBrother-k1t yeah no problem!
good job . a future John browning
Hey, how did you make the Mail Envelopes and Stamps? Thank you!
Nice job. Looks really nice
@jimmymarsh2489 thanks!
“I had no toothbrush. Wore my sleeping bag with a piece of rope like a tramp. Didn’t take a shower for six months . In my pockets I maybe carried some K rations . We never knew when food was coming. As we marched from one unique horror to another.” -Lieutenant Paul Fussel ETO 1944-45
What No Condoms
Too much shaving stuff, screw shaving in combat !
@@dissy5563 in general beards were prohibited in the army during WWII. Therefore it was most common to see soldiers with a clean shave. It was seen as more hygienic and it was believed that with a beard your gas mask wouldn’t seal correctly. The US army had grooming standards that the soldiers had to follow so that’s why they had shaving stuff
Great video! The table top show looks a bit like Call of Duty mission loading screen!
@@JustClassicStuff thanks! Haha it does!
Nice man
Nice video. I'm glad more and more people are making videos about ww2. i'm doing a reenactment of 101st airborne division and i got 3 jumps from a C-47
Yippy
Yay Avery posted
looks good. IDK if you covered it in a different video, but are the K rations just the box or is there reproduction K rations with the food in them?
@@angelogarcia2189 I don’t think they make any reproduction K rations, at least not that I’ve seen. I made the contents inside of mine so I’ll do a video on them sometime
The best advice for new people is to find a unit portraying what you want to dress up as and ask to do a free event with them. Proceed from there.
Loved the video 👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
if i turned 13 a few days ago can i still do it
Highly doubt most will accept someone that young. Youngest ive seen is usually 17. I would start collecting either real or repro gear at your age so that when you hit the right age, you can just get right into it
Step one, find a reenactor unit. Ask them questions before you spend $2000 on gear that needs to be replaced day one.
isnt it easier to find a unit in your area and then build your uniform from that unit ?
@@andreasdieckmann9936 yeah you could do it that way also
I would strongly recommend this approach. It is better to buy the right gear the first time that meets a units accuracy standards. The unit will usually help you with loaner gear (usually everything but boots).
Bro but sadly orginal gear is hella expensive
@@PVTLogan12 yeah most gear in this hobby is sadly. You can find some deals out there tho. It takes time to gather gear just gotta keep an eye out
This hobby is very expensive one thing I'll say tho since I've made plenty of mistakes Is buy the more expensive stuff because in the long run it'll last you way longer than if you buy cheap stuff and it also looks better
@@huntereh08 yes I agree. Go for quality gear. Buy good buy once
@@averymoser8606 yessir!

Good video 🙌
I have both field jackets My M41 is a repro and my M43 is a original

Looking good bro ❤

@@NikonRules303 thanks! Sure will
Pretty cool actually
Bro stop reading off the script 🗣🚫
I’m not reading off a script. I just come up with what to say and memorize it a little for the video
